It’s been a couple of weeks since I installed this battery on my Dell Latitude 7390, and it is holding strong so far. it lasts for nearly two hours with the laptop on full throttle. I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this battery

Installed in a Dell Latitude 7490, the old battery cable was easy to swap over, took just a couple minutes, no need to buy a new one. System powered on with no issues, the laptop sees it as a genuine battery. As i have just installed it and done one full cycle i cant attest to its duability but hopefully it lasts a couple years. ** see 1 year update belowNot sure why other reviewers state it didnt fit properly or you have to measauge it into place, as it fit perfectly where the old dell battery was, just place it in and tighten down the 2 screws and connect the battery cable to the motherboard.the old dell battery had aluminum on the under side and overall feels much sturdier however you can get 3 of these for the price of one genuine battery so decided to go this route.** 1 year update, I now have a total of 1070 hours on battery with total degradation at 10.2% or 53,899WH of the original 60,040wh. My daily schedule usually ends with the battery around 40% then I charge it overnight. Very rarely do I charge the laptop while using it as that would accelerate battery wear due to the extra heat.

What a great battery. It was easy to install and even with it’s initial charge out of the box lasted over two hours. When charged for the first time after three hours still shows a quarter charge. It this battery lasts it is an excellent purchase for the price. Couldn’t recommend it higher.

Product arrived promptly. The battery is however overrated by Dell and does not come close to having the life expectancy that Dell says. This however is not the fault of this vendor who I have no complaints about whatsoever. I would use and/or recommend this vendor.

Second battery working (so far)
60Wh battery for my Dell Latitude 7280 laptop. The first battery stopped charging at 68%. The second battery got to 100% and has been running fine for several days. I installed it Monday and still have ~40% power available on Saturday. It gets light use for 30-60 minutes per day. The battery “time remaining” is all over the map. I saw as high as 13 hours and a low under 2. I think this is to be expected as it attempts to determine my usage profile. I’m guessing when all is said and done I’ll probably be in the 6-8 hour range. I plan to recharge when it gets down around 20%. I’ll update the review after I’ve had some more runtime.

Did not last 4 months.
After initially working for about 3 months, but…It was working fine for about 3 weeks. After that time I noticed my laptop did not want to start once on battery only. I was thinking it was my old laptop. It was not. I just bought a new one and all is working ok, but it’s the first day. The progressive failure of that battery looked like this:First about 3+ weeks it stopped starting from battery. Once started on AC power it was keeping the load to about 30%. After the next couple of week, it started to die on 40/50/75 and now on 99%. Every time it was worse and every time one “fully charged” system was showing 100% load. I believe something smart is on the battery power board, but I do not have a prove.Solution.1) Be sure when you buy this battery from Amazon it is returnable for 30 days, according to Amazon policy. If the seller is not affiliated with Amazon, you will have to deal with the seller and will be left at his mercy.2) If the battery starts behaving like the above and you still have time to return it to Amazon do it immediately. Do not wait.3) Buy a new battery on Amazon again.I believe if all of us will start doing it the quality of replacement batteries will improve drastically!I’m not expecting miracles, however, I would expect the replacement battery to last at least one Year, for my money!

Perfect fit
I bought this replacement battery for my laptop to try to squeeze more life out of it. Installation instructions were simple enough (dang those tiny screws though!). Just take your time to make sure you get it right and you’ll be very happy.

Great Replacement
This is a perfect replacement for the oem product. Price is great – this works as good as the original. Easy to install – anyone can really do it. I have purchased a number of these in the past and never have had an issue.
