Fits on Harbor Freight blower
This is a life saver. I purchased a combo blower/mulcher/vacuum from Harbor Freight for maybe $50 – works great…until the vacuum bag exploded. And I really like using the vacuum to get all those little leaf bits. But when I went to look for a bag replacement, I was shocked to find the bags cost almost as much as the blower to begin with. It’s kind of like printer ink used to be where it starts making more sense to just buy a new one than pay for a part that you know isn’t even going to last long.and this is really robbery by these companies. Anyway, for months I have been randomly looking, but not wanting to spend the money. I finally came across this one for a reasonable price, crossed my fingers it would fit, and it did! Not only that, but it’s more sturdy than the original bag was. You just attach it with a zip tie and you are good to go. One time it did become detached while I was using it but I am sure it was my fault -i probably didn’t make it tight enough- and it just dropped to the ground…it didn’t make a mess or anything. It literally brought me joy to be able to vacuum up those teeny tiny leaf fragments that get caught in your flower beds or mulch and the blower doesn’t get but the vacuum can pick up without taking everything else with it. Or the little pieces inevitably left behind when piles of leaves are gone. Very happy with this purchase! I have the green Portland 3 in 1 blower from Harbor Freight and it fit great!

After years of dealing with model/brand based replacement bags for the different Blower/Vacs I’ve owned; it’s great to find one that saves on plastic waste, and actually works. For everyone who hasn’t realized it; your bag will wear out sometime. Usually when it’s least convenient for you. And, if your favorite model was discontinued; you need a new source for bag replacements.I always hated throwing away the connectors from the worn out bags. It seemed to me that there should be a way to reuse them; and it turns out there are many choices available. This one is BREATHABLE Canvas. I got a different bag that was 100% airtight nylon; and was totally useless for picking up leaves. The dependability of zippers is pure chance. Well stitched bags with a heavy load will fail at the zipper’s teeth because that the weak point. My advice is to not test your bag’s limit by regularly filling it to the max capacity. You lose the effectiveness of pick up. It gets heavy to move around with. And, it puts stress on both you, and the bag.Empty your bags more often and leave some air space in them every use. This model comes with reusable cable ties to attach it to the original connector, or directly to the blower. But, I’ve opted to use a stainless steel screw on hose clamp. (See pictures) I figured this out one Fall when the Sun Joe bag I was using started to separate from the connector right in the middle of Fall cleanup.I’m sure the cable ties would do a great job. But, it would be inconvenient, and messy if they failed with a full bag. The hose clamps are removable, and reusable too. So, I think they are a better choice for large bags and heavy duty cleanups. It got me through the cleanup, and Sun Joe sent a new bag to me under warranty. But that made me think about life after the warranty runs out. Since then I’ve have 2 more bags wear out; and one size hasn’t been available from Sun Joe for months. That’s when I decided it was time to stop depending on the maker to get replacements. If his bag makes it through the 2022 season, I’ll probably order a few more to keep on hand.

This has proven to be a great replacement bag for my electric corded Toro leaf vacuum, but I think it would fit several other machines. I really like the smaller size bag compared to the original – and it was much cheaper! I’m 5’5” and the original would drag on the ground when only partially full and/or the shoulder strap was awkward and became too heavy to use. This one is a little smaller and a better fit for me. The smaller, less heavy bag also is easier to remove from the machine and empty. The downside is that it needs to be emptied more often, but I think it is a good trade off because it doesn’t get as heavy. Originally, I thought it would be better if the zipper was on the bottom instead of the long side, but after using it, I think it would make emptying it harder because the leaves bunch up at the zipper, and a shorter zipper would make it worse. A good tip is to turn the bag upside down after removing it from the vacuum so that the leaves move away from the zipper, then open the zipper before turning back over to empty. There are no instructions supplied. It is important to keep in mind that you will need to remove the old bag from the plastic piece that clips on the machine and attach the new bag with zip ties. It was a little difficult to separate the old bag from the plastic piece, but a box cutter and wire cutter did the job. The new bag is secured by one or two of the heavy-duty ties supplied. Be sure to pull the zip tie(s) tight with pliers. I have filled and emptied it about 15 times and so far, so good, I’ll review it again next summer if it doesn’t hold up.

It was easy to install, as my old bag disintegrated & needed to be replaced. The strap wasn’t in the correct spot for my shoulder, but that was my device’s issue & I rigged it, so it works. The bag holds a lot of leaves!

Zip ties kept loosening off. May work fine on electric but volume from my gasoline vac kept poosening them up. Had to make up a bolt on clamp & holds fine.

I put this on my Black & Decker BV6000. I used the fitting from an old B&D bag, fits fine. Pros: much less expensive than a B&D-brand replacement; seems like stronger fabric; more comfortable strap. Cons: a bit smaller; the zipper doesn’t open the whole bottom, it opens to within maybe 3-4″ of each corner so I cannot just shake out the leaves, I have to start by pulling them out with my hand. Overall the price wins over the cons for me and I think I will buy again.

Seems as well made as the original. Easier than fitting a new zipper to the old one
