Gardener’s Best Friend
I wish I had found this years ago. I spend so much time in my garden, weeding, cleaning up leaves, cleaning up, cleaning up, cleaning up, on repeat like Sisyphus, hauling my garden waste to the yard waste bin, hauling that to the curb… At a certain point this summer, I got so disgusted that I just stopped. All my yard waste got stacked in a pile, where it sat.My husband suggested we get this vac and now, honestly, I’m a little mad at him that he knew about such tools and has been withholding this information from me for years. I used the vac this past weekend and cleaned up my whole garden, my porch, vacuumed the dirt out of my porch rugs, and cleaned the patio. This works amazing on leaves and your non-stacked debris. I still have a pile of wet debris from a recent rain that could use drying out before revisiting vacuuming. A couple times I did have to clean out the shoot because I was a little over-enthusiastic with trying to get up the wet piles of old tomato plants, but that’s on me.The bag has a convenient zipper for emptying out the mulch. Love the design. Easy. Free mulch. It’s wonderful.Vac took a little getting used to in terms of how to sling the catch bag over your shoulder, but easy enough once your figure it out. I am not a beast, but reasonably strong and the vac does get heavy with a full bag, but that is all to be expected and a great excuse to take a break anyway to empty the bag, and maybe, crack an adult beverage of your choice. Because now you have SO MUCH TIME again to enjoy life!If I had a time machine and had a chance to offer advice to my younger self it would be this, “saving is all well and good and smart on you being frugal, but consider your quality of life, the crushing blows to your spirit, and the precious hours you lose doing things the hard way. Just spend the money and buy the tools that buy you back your time.”That is my advice to you. Buy back your life. And also buy some earplugs, because even the best things come with a price. Don’t let it be your hearing.

Work’s well in a small-ish yard/parking lot.
The WORX TRIVAC WG509 has been a great addition to my yard tools, especially since I wanted to start mulching leaves to compost for next yearâs garden. This 3-in-1 system combines a blower, mulcher, and vacuum, making leaf cleanup much easier and giving me the ability to mulch leaves directly. As a blower, it has enough power to clear my lawn and driveway efficiently. The switch to the vacuum function is smooth, and it does a decent job of picking up the leaves Iâve gathered. The mulcher is where it really shines for meâit chops the leaves down to a fraction of their size, which is perfect for my composting efforts. Itâs also nice that the mulched leaves take up less space in the collection bag.The 12-amp motor is fine for moderate tasks, though it might struggle with heavier jobs. Being corded limits mobility a bit, but with a good extension cord, itâs not a big issue.Overall, the WORX TRIVAC WG509 is a solid tool, especially if youâre looking to mulch leaves for composting. Itâs versatile and easy to use, making it a great option for maintaining a clean yard and creating garden-ready mulch. I have a city-size yard, and am not sure this would be the right tool for someone with a large yard.

Great product. Very Happy with the quality and performance.
This Worx 3-in-1 unit works great. The housing, handle, and parts feel very sturdy and high quality. The motor was surprisingly powerful â yes, so powerful you need to wear ear plugs! Parts snap together easily (no tools needed) for assembly or cleaning up after use. It took me less than 5 minutes to open the box, assemble it, and start vacuuming. Another great feature I love is the motor speed dial. I have a lot of rock landscaping, and when vacuuming on high speed my shop vac will pick up small rocks. But on this unit I was able to adjust the motor speed down enough to pick up leaves, but not pick up rocks. I was also happy with the mulching and bag. This unit mulches the leaves nicely so the bag does not fill up too quickly. Mulch was small enough to use it in my garden compost pile. The blower worked equally well. The unit has a lever so you can quickly switch from vacuum to blower on the go. It was nice to blow the leaves into a pile, flip the lever, then suck them up-while never turning the unit off. I cleaned my back patio area in just a few minutes. I already have a blower, so now I can get rid of it and use this tool for both vacuuming and blowing. I am very happy with this product. Someone put a lot of thought into the design and quality of this unit.

This is the most awesome machine I have ever owned. It was a little pricier than most but well worth it. I would highly recommend for your blower or leaf vacuum needs. The metal blades literally shred everything you pick up. My yard is surrounded by maple trees. This machine makes the clean-up a lot easier.

Overall it works great. Suction power is strong but the blowing power is weak.A little bit heavy. Good for a small yard ( I use it for picking up leafs on my deck/patio and driveway). You can switch between suck/blow mode easily.
