    Best Shopvac I have owned
This is my second one of these. I have cleaned out cars, dirty trucks, drywall messes, flooded shops, to rocks in a playground. The only reason I got a second one is because I gave my first one that was over five years old to my brother in law who loves it. I looked at several other shop vacs and this is the one I got a second time.I keep a couple of filters on hand so I can use a clean one while other is airing out after cleaning it.I would say the only negative thing is that the attachment can come off if they are too lose and get super stuck if you push too hard. The ridged systems fit with this and they have little ridges that keep the attachment from falling off so I use them often. One of the best quality is how powerful it sucks anything. It gets dog hairs out of carpet and deep sand stuck in car mats. I have not found anything that this bad boy can’t handle. We have black carpet in our car and this is the only vacuum that has really got all the dirt out. My guess is these last a long time. I have yet to where one out. 7 years and counting.

    This thing is a BEAST.
I’m not sure why people are so put off by how much noise this thing makes.. it’s one of the most powerful (and affordable) vacs out there. Of course it’s going to be a little loud. But in all honesty, it’s not much louder than my old 3hp Shop-Vac.Great assortment of attachments came with it. I’m super pleased that it has a water pickup head… one of the reasons I got this vac was to help combat my flooded basement every spring… that head was a nice little “extra”.The cord on this thing is LONG. Like REALLY LONG. I haven’t measured it, but it’s long. Did I mention that it’s long?I do wish the hose was slightly longer… I need to get a second hose anyway (to go with my dust collection cyclone), so it’s not a huge deal. However, I like long hoses.Speaking of which, keep your genitals away from this thing. It will rip your junk off. No, not speaking from experience. Well, that you know of.I will be purchasing a brush attachment at some point for this. That will come in handy. And, of course, the “wet filter” for springtime. All, in all, this thing is a BEAST. Hopefully it’ll last as long as my little cheapy Shop-vac (which is still running fine, but I wanted a big vac for my shop.)

Used and abused it, and it still works.
I’ve had this for 7+ years and it’s a trooper.I’ve used it to clean up little things like sawdust, drywall dust, dirt, and leaves – no problem. But then used it to suck up solid wood offcuts, and actual chunks of drywall, and gravel, and stuff that didn’t fit, and whatever really.I even unclogged a toilet with it, which was wild – I never thought I’d be ‘plunging’ a toilet with a wet/dry vac – but it worked. After 7 years I’ve cleaned the filter exactly once – at the 7-year mark. It was caked in junk so bad I didn’t realize what it was at first. And I’m not gentle with it. I’ve thrown it, rolled it, kicked it, shaken it. Motor still works. Nothing is cracked or broken. I’ve had dogs chew on it, and it hasn’t been simple to find replacement bits, though.Anyway, through it all this thing hasn’t quit.

    The Beast Shop Vac
I’ve used a shop vac for years to clean my car. I was in the process of purchasing a gutter cleaning tool and realized I needed more power.Hrr Hrr Hrr. So I set out looking for a 6.5 peak HP vac. Found it. Saw the 16- gallon size and thought a shop vac is a shop vac, right? Door bell rang and I looked out and saw this box the size of a deep freezer. What the heck did I order? 😂😂 This thing is MASSIVE! So….A shop vac is not a shop vac. This is the Shop Vac of All Shop Vacs. It worked great to help clean out my gutters. Guess I could’ve gone with the smaller model, but hey! Now to find a place in my garage to store The Beast! Only complaint is that 2 of the wheels won’t click into place and keep falling out. Hoping they’ll settle into place one day. Great purchase. Looks like it’ll last for years. Impressive machine.

Hold-On Tight…this machine has some Suction!
Well-Made product with great Fit and Finish…..moreover…..it has some definitely pronounced suction. Just for “Gee-Wiz” sake, I put a 12′ extension onto the hose that came with it and was able to pull water up from an old Cistern tank at my grandparents farm, since we had no sump-pump available. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the water started shaking the line as it made its way to the top and was collecting in the vacuum’s tank. If vacuuming your hardwood or garage floors, be advised, if you get it at the right angle, it will want to stick itself to the floor and you’ll have to pry it one way or the other to free up the attachment. It may be one loud beast, but this Wet-Dry Vac has some unmatched suction….heck, I’ll just keep my ear plugs handy, as that’s the only noticeable negative attribute I can report on after all these months owning it.By the way…when ordering this vacuum(or any other one you may find that won’t match its performance), go to the following link: FilterPal HD [1 Pack] – The Dust Stops Here! and get yourself one or two of these “Filterpal” covers to pull down over your normal paper filter on your vacuum. When done vacuuming, just pull off the dust cover, shake it out, and your right back in the action….saving loads of cash from routinely buying vacuum filters. These dust covers will add 100 times more life to your paper filters and are a good pre-filter for the smallest of dust particles you want to keep off your regular filter an OUT of the MOTOR.

After 30+ years my trusty and sturdy Craftsman wet dry shop vacuum died, The noble device once garnered top marks and devastated the competition in the now long defunct Canadian Consumer magazine’s shop vac test, astonishing the testers by inhaling a kitchen sink full of water in just six seconds..With parent retailer Sears now gone and their Craftsman tool line with it, I replaced the old shop vacuum with what seemed to be its modern day equivalent, the Workshop Wet/Dry 60 liter vacuum. It was an inspired move. The Workshop has just as large a bin as my old machine and has every bit as much power, perhaps more. It also provides places to store not only all the tools and accessories but the cord too, right on the vacuum itself. The old vacuum was prone to having the bucket fall off if you were to fail to lift it by the flange and instead lifted by what appeared to be handles but were in fact molded ducts to direct exhaust air down. The new one can be securely lifted any way you wish. The last pleasant surprise is that in spite of the passing of more than three decades, the new machine cost a mere $25 more than the old one cost, and that one was bought in 1985 dollars.I would not have thought that a vacuum cleaner would have me this enthusiastic, but there it is. :)Five stars.

Excellent shop vac, at an excellent price! Powerful, large capacity, and well thought out. A few very minor complaints..wet & Hepa filter not included, and a cord that could be longer (it’s apx 20 ft), though these are as I said, very minor overall.
