Great at sucking up legos and Timothy hay
For the price this shop VAC is very powerful. My kids are slobs. Instead of yelling and fighting with my kids about cleaning up I now just pull out the vacuum and suck all the stuff up. I love that it can use a bag or collect directly into the container. We also have two guinea pigs that go through a lot of Timothy hay and my son has trouble getting it in the hay bucket for them. I think he’s trying to feed the floor. He’s old enough to have much better aim. This stuff has clogged every vaccum and like glitter it sticks everywhere. Did I mention that this thing can pick up glitter as well? After a slime party using every ungodly product in the household and then sticking glitter in it we are surrounded by a cloud of rainbow holographic glitter. This VAC sucks it right out of the air and off of clothes and upholstery and off dogs. Cats are a no if you want to keep your skin in tact. My only wish was that there were actual hinged latches for the top instead of the plastic push down locks.

Great product for a great price
More than I could have bargained for. Great product for a great price. As soon I as I got it, took it out, minimal amount of work to put together and put it to the test. Great suction and blower works good for a 5hp. The container was the right size (12 gal) and holds a lot of material before having to empty. Would recommended!!

    update: doesnt age well
I have to update this based on a few observations after using this awhile:while it’s not as shrill sounding as previous cheap vacs I own, it’s also excessively loud for something this modestly powered.the way the top connects to the base is a critical design flaw. It wore out quickly and now lifting the shopvac will 99% of the time cause the base to fall off and spill dust everywhere (kinda defeats the purpose)its really really big for its small capacity. It does not perform any better than my rigid 5hp shop vac which was 1/5 the price, is quieter, and has the same power/capacityas mentioned before, the attachments for it are ridiculously overpriced. I solved this by getting rubber sleeves and buying generic ones that would fit in loosely. I havent found a single secondary market attachment that fits this natively–this manu would have to go out of its way to make its product this limited and incompatible.I originally got this because I wanted an upgrade over my cheap ryobi vac. Now that I have a couple nicer ones, this one has been relegated to a shed for outdoor use only dedicated to a radial arm saw.produces a TON of heat. I thought it was just what would happen with a 5hp model, but the rigid is cooler.(the rigid also kinda sucks/is cheap, but is better than this thing)OMG the best best best best. So worth the price. Wish the accessories werent so overpriced so I could give workshop more of my money, but instead I’ve gone with the generics which all work perfectly as well.Pros:Tons of powerNot too loud (not quiet, but quieter than my basic rigid shop vac) <---update: got louder after maybe 50 hours of usevac bag SO AWESOMEcons:doesn't come with many of the disposable accessories, which is a shame considering how expensive it is overallthe hose and power cable to tuck away nicely. A retractable power cord is a must for something this price, I would think. I've tripped over it a couple timesdoesn't come with any brush attachments, and their replacement accessories are really expensive

    SOLID WET/DRY VAC!!
I’ve owned this wet/dry vac for about 2 years and it’s been nothing but reliable! I love it. It has more than enough suction power and if you use the bag, you’ll probably never fill it if you’re doing light work. I mainly use it for vacuuming my vehicles and handling cleaning up for small projects in the garage. I would definitely recommend it!!

    Shopvac is horrible
This shopvac is absolutely horrible. The suction on it couldn’t even lift wood shavings. I followed the directions, never once put water anywhere near it. The huge vacuum just didn’t work. I threw it away out of frustration and bought a different brand.

    Hello HEPA filter
I bought this to do some house and garage work and it has definitely fulfilled that purpose. It arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, and the HEPA filter works great to prevent dust from coming back out of it. It comes with a lot of attachments however it doesn’t have an attachment that goes from shop vac size to vacuum size so any attachment you have for a household vacuum will not fit without some adapting or buying additional accessories. Overal though it’s a good wet/dry vac and isn’t to big or awkward to utilize in the house or outside.

Puts my vacuum to shame! Just the right size.
I had a larger one and it was too hard to pull along. This machine picks up everything! Even water during a little flooding! You can’t have mine, but if you get one you’ll feel the same way. Everyone needs one of these.

Arrived very quick. Set up was fast and easy. Perhaps a bit louder than I’d hoped, but not terrible.

Great product! My shop has never been so clean! I screwed around with big name brands for years only to have them crap out any time I really tasked them. 2 1/2″ hose is awesome – no plugged hoses and the suction is amazing!

Can be a little bulky but that is just the nature of the beast. A soft brush attachment would be a good addition to get some of the finer dust.
