A very good hose. Full volume 2.5″ outer diameter (standard dimensions), with vac ends to fit all types.The one I received is about 20′ long, and has extra flex for the first foot or so at each end of the hose.A perfect mate for my Rigid WD1450 — exactly like the original hose, but much MUCH longer!In the past, I have resorted to purchasing multiple 8′ hoses with couplers to make long enough hoses,but this one is a much better solution — no more heavy, rigid/droopy coupler sections in the middle of the hose run.

Works with 30 year old Craftsman
My old but working Craftsman 3HP 8gal Wet Dry Vac was a pain to drag around with its OEM 6ft hose, so adding a new 20ft hose was a welcome improvement. The Craftsman is Model 113.177010 and is at least 30 years old. The new 2-1/2″ hose fits fine; one end has a built-in swivel that plugs directly into the vacuum. The hose itself is the same unpleasant corrugated hard black plastic like the original but it works fine. Included are three adapters, two with locking tabs for the newer style vacuum models but don’t interfere with the non-locking style like mine. In my case I found by using one of the adapters at the free end of the 20ft hose I could plug in the original 6ft hose so I now have a total of 26ft. And as the original hose also had a swivel end, I now have swivels at both the vacuum and the wand end which definitely helps prevent annoying twists in the hose. Now I can leave the vacuum parked in the garage in one spot and just move the hose around to reach the cars, woodworking tools, etc. No doubt there is a slight loss of suction efficiency due to pumping losses in a longer hose, but it’s not really noticeable for day to day tasks. Truth is, what this hose cost me in 2021 is probably the same as what the entire vacuum cost back in 1990, but there’s inflation for you.
