    Easy to install, works good
Comes with a good selection of mounting hardware. The nut marked ‘B’ was what fit my Honda HHT35S trimmer with a M10x1.25 LH thread. I elected NOT to use the washer between the head and spacer as the instructions suggest, it just didn’t make sense in this particular install. THe Honda spacer is splined to the shaft and thus must turn with the shaft. But… There is a chance of the head slipping on the spacer and ‘friction welding’ the plastic head to the spacer, I don’t concider this to be a bad thing, you make your own choices. The original set of blades did a fine job for an hour or so of cutting grass and small blackberry shoots. Then I got into some blackberry shoots about the size of my thumb. The blades shattered at that point. I have another blade system that’s made of steel that I’ll install to attack the larger blackberries.Blades are very easy to change once you figure out how to do it.

    This works GREAT!
I have a Stihl FS240 brush cutter. I really like this brush cutter head. I have a lot of light brush, including some small alders and willows, to cut around my house with many rocks and large pieces of wood hidden in the brush. In the past I used a metal cutting blade. By the time I finished I was always unable to avoid hitting some of the rocks; so, the blade would always have many small dings requiring me to sharpen it after each use. I have used it for at lest 10-12 hours, and have cut a large amount of the brush. This has really worked well. I have only had to replace one of the cutter blades after striking a large tree. The blade was very easy to change. I have cut many of the small willows and alders without any problem and the blades have hardly any wear on them. The only downside of the item is that the metal washer that came with it had too small of a hole to fit over the shaft the cutter attaches to. I fortunately had some washers with a larger hole and was able to get the head attached.I am very happy with this cutter and it has worked as advertised and has prevented me from having to keep sharpening my metal blade.I highly recommend it.

IF you have an electric string trimmer, watch that extension cord!!!
I had trouble sizing the correct nut/bolt because they were just a jumble of parts, and by habit I kept checking for fit by tightening “righty-tighty.” So at first I mistakenly thought it wouldn’t fit.Would be 5 star but I’m leaving off one for not including the following info that would help select the correct bolt/nut. I found this later, about the arbor sizes:M7 x 1.00 LH x 22 mm stamped #3 screw,M8 x 1.25 LH x 22 mm stamped #1 screw,M8 x 1.25 RH stamped A nut, (correction LH)M8 x 1.25 RH x 22 mm stamped #4 screw,M8 x 1.25 RH stamped J nut,M10 x 1.25 LH x 21 mm stamped #2 screw,M10 x 1.25 LH stamped B nut -(this one fit my greenworks and lawnmaster 10 amp electrics)M10 x 1.00 LH stamped C nut,M10 x 1.50 LH stamped F nut,5/16″-18 UNC RH x 19 mm stamped #5 screw,5/16″-24 UNF-2B RH stamped E nut,3/8″-24 UNF-2B RH stamped D nut,3/8″-24 UNF-2B LH stamped K nutMe to the weeds: “Say hello to my little friend!”I nicked my extension cord. I was working on taller thicker weeds than I know would destroy my 0.08 string, and the yellow cord was slightly hidden in the green/yellow/brown weeds, …. and I was being a little careless in my exuberance. Plan ahead so you aren’t doubling back, to keep the extension cord behind you….It fits my greenworks 10 amp corded electric. I thought it didn’t fit my lawnmaster red 10 amp, but I think I was trying the different nuts wrong, by trying to tighten as if they were right handed threads.I would prefer if they listed the thread sizes it will fit, both to research before buying, and to help select the right nut or bolt. They are nicely lettered and numbered, but I had to look around to find the info that correlates the sizes. It cut quite a few thick weeds with minimal wear. I did hit a large jagged lava rock and the three pieces survived. Mostly I stayed away from obstacles b/c I haven’t ordered a bunch of replacements. The release is easy but not intuitive. To remove a blade, you push the release button (duh), but pulling on the blade won’t free it – you must push the blade in further. Reminds me of a racoon trap I once read about.

    They are just ok
They do fine, easy to change out. However, it does pull to down making it hard to make an even cut. Also, around chain link fences if you hit the fence it will bog down the trimmer and tear up the plastic strips really fast. The strips are not very long so the cut path is about 4-5 inches smaller than regular string. Last, it tends to lay grass down rather than cut it so you may have to go over the spot more than once.

Takes the thicker stuff down with ease
The wide yellow blades define the cut path and make it easy to see where the edge is when cutting. It went through raspberry canes without hesitation. Overall pretty good but a couple of small caveats. This thing throws rocks fast and at distance. Standard trimmer line doesn’t do much to a rock/gravel but this sends that stuff flying. Watch out, legs toes, eyes. I found out the hard way cleaning up the edges of a gravel driveway. Also its not that great around obstacles at least not to the level of stabndard trimmer line.

Bought it for my 20v Dewalt trimmer(the older non folding one). Once you find the proper nut in the kit for it you’re pretty much done. It installs in seconds no tools needed. The initial performance is excellent, it still has lots of power for trimming with the new head. The overall head size is smaller and the blades appear shorter but because of that it has more cutting force then the origional head did. Cuts better now than it ever did before.

Did not fit my Ryobi one+ trimmer. No instructions for any models that dont have the top side of the spool head accessible. ALL the instruction videos are US guys using trimmers that DONT have protectors above the spool as is common in AUS.

It works really well. Think of it more as a brush cutter. It kicks back really brutal when you hit the ground. A tree. Fence. House.Keep that in mind. I still prefer it over my string because string is so annoying.Dont wear sandals!!

This product was as good as advertised, the blades broke fast & weren’t durable, waste of money. The only good thing about this product was the ease of replacing the blades. Aside from that, I went back to using the line method. I wouldn’t of wasted my money if I knew how this product was. Not impressed by the advertised quality of a product that didn’t last, unlike most line products.
