Nice Kit But Very Disappointing Battery Life
I ordered this battery to replace an old one in my Dell Inspiron laptop. The battery came with two screwdrivers which was nice so that I didn’t have to search for the correct tool. Installation was very easy and I didn’t encounter any issues getting the new battery swapped out. My issue is with the performance and life of the battery. Sometimes I can get around two hours of battery life but other times I don’t even get one hour of usage. I am not getting much better performance with this battery than I was with the old one I removed. At times I have started using the laptop after fully charging it and have barely gotten one hour of use before I get a low battery message and have to hurry to get it plugged back into the charger. Overall, I am very disappointed with this product and would not recommend it based on the lack of battery life that I get from it. I wanted to be able to use my laptop anywhere I wanted to but I still have to make sure I am close to an outlet and the charger. I will be looking for a different brand battery next time.
