So Iâve had this for about 3 months and in the first 3 uses of the vacuum the flap to prime it fails to operate. For what I paid I may as well just use a chunk of garden hose. Greatly let down. It was purchased so my kid could take care of his pets and now Iâm back at it.

Works well – Hard to argue since price is low — siphon tube is soft so it has tendency to bend — However suction is VERY strong

Does the job but sure that it won’t last long. Cheap plastic and even with a 1$ net, the price is way too high for what it is.

It works but itâs super cheaply made. End comes off all the time. Would not recommend.

Better than the rest
This is my second vacuum Iâve purchased for my fish tank. After using the first one for a few years I didnât realize that it wasnât just me. The thing was so difficult to get started and it kept loosing auction. Not so with this vacuum. My tank looks amazing! Itâs so much less effort full that I actually donât dread cleaning day. Would definitely recommend above other models.

It’s ok…
This product would get a 5 stars from me if the plastic tubing was a bit more thicker.
It’s still a great product and fits my needs, but…
The tubing is REAL thin, which makes it a PITA (Pain In The ***) when your trying to pump it and create the siphon. Once you get a few pumps into the tubing, it collapses, folds in 1/2 which isn’t a total pain, I just have to hold the tubing and pinch it until I get the water flowing..
I’ve got some old thicker tubing laying around the house, I’ve tested it and it works great. But… That defeats the purpose of buying something that should be good to go out of the box.. Anyway…
This is a great item if your cleaning smaller tanks, and using a 5gal bucket, which I do on some of my tanks. Great little item at a decent price..

Cheaply made
Well I bought two of these. One for each tank. The suction good but the way it was made is terrible the type is very flimsy so it bends when your trying to suction. Do it quits on you and the extension falls off so I keep it off. The bulb you use at the other end to get water flowing is to far away from reaching it unless you have a bucket right there beside you but itâs still to far. The nets are made well. My second one already stopped working on the gravel vacuum it some how has a air leak in it but canât seem to find a hole . Not made well but works if it doesnât break on you
