Works for iRobot Roomba i8+
Very easy installation, only removed a couple of screws, traced the cable down and wallah, it worked, no more error 26, no more replacing the filter error… it sounds like a little turbine, pretty cool! Recommended 100% for the i8+

Perfect replacement for Roomba J7+ fan!
Error 26, as most of the individuals reading this are probably expecting. I contemplated replacing the entire cleaning module. Then, I contemplated rebuilding the previous fan with bearing washers. I saw this fan and saw it a a middle option cost-wise, and an overall upgrade to the junk fan that died exactly 2 days after the 12 month warranty ended on my J7. Of course, right?Installation was a breeze. Just a few screws and careful cord management. Took about 7 minutes start to finish. This fan is superior to the original in just about every way. Living in Arizona, things get quite dusty, very quickly. The original fan had an open motor design that was not ideal for these conditions. This fan is enclosed, so already a plus! The first time I ran the vacuum after installation, I could hear the difference. The high pitch that traditional vacuums make, that seems to be lacking in most robot vacuums.Performance is better than when this vacuum was brand new. I have dogs that shed, so I run my vacuums daily. Not only does this seem to allow the vacuum to run more quickly, but it does a better job overall at picking up dust, debris, and pet hair.Great purchase! Iâm very glad I went with this option and saved the money and hassle of the other options that I was considering.

Very slightly louder than the original component
Installation took maybe 10 minutes. The new vacuum motor is very slightly louder than the original, definitely has a high whining tone to it. Not completely unbearable or anything though, and it seems to be stronger than the original so as far as Iâm concerned itâs a win. Itâs a vacuum cleaner. Itâs going to sound like a vacuum cleaner. ¯_(ã)_/¯ Rosieâs back up and running, thatâs what matters to me!

Good, but noisey
This was easy to install and cleared the error message that kept it from running. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because the motor has a very high pitch noise. It makes the vacuum a lot louder when it runs. Maybe it’s user error, so I will take it out and reinstall it. If the noise goes away, I will update.

Worked for my Roomba I4’s Error 26
This worked to resolve the Error #26 my Roomba I4 was reporting. was a simple replacement process. 13 screws and wire routing.

This fan is louder than the original
It works great but it is twice as loud as the original I3 motor. If you want a quiet machine this is not the fan for you. I personally donât care but it could be an issue for someone
Solinym –
Extremely noisy
I found the replacement blower to be extremely noisy. I could have made a mounting error when mounting it, as the wires run in a slightly strange way, so this could be a user error, but it’s at least 2x as loud as the OEM parts (which always seem to die).

Roomba Error Code 26
This motor fit my Roomba i8 perfectly and the error code stopped. Watch a YouTube video for how to remove the part.

Just installed this today. An easy job. The motor itself is sealed a lot better than the original so the dog hair has a less chance of getting inside. I wouldnât say it is loader, just a little more high pitched which to me seems to be working better than the original ever did.

It works

This fan makes a very loud and extreamly irritating whistling. An hour of this per day is going to drive me nuts.
