Good value for the price
I was a bit skeptical when purchasing due to the low price, but I have to say that I am quite happy with the purchase. The tripod mount adapter works well and the remote is the epitome of simplicity. Frankly, it did not work well with my old Galaxy Note 3 (it paired OK, but instead of taking a photo, it brought up zoom control), however, it works just fine with my newer Galaxy S10+. I haven’t tried with my wife’s Galaxy S24, but I am sure it will be OK. Overall I am quite satisfied with this purchase. I just wish that we could get American made products this good at this price, but even products like this will surge up in price due to the coming tariffs. I am glad I bought it now.

Works OK, no pairing/use instructions, treat it kindly and remember to turn it off when done.
Battery was preinstalled, nothing required for that. There’s a tiny on-off switch on the upper/right side, slide it ‘up’ to turn on, a blue light on the left flashes a couple of times. Pair your Android phone (no idea about Apple details …) while the switch remains on, not pressing any of the two trigger buttons. Shows as “AB Shutter3” in the BT list after pairing on my S23. Press the Android push button with camera open and it takes a picture. Simple. Turn it off to avoid running down the battery (so easy to forget, this will probably be a battery killer …) Turn it on later in the presence of the phone and it seems to connect before I can get the picture setup, so painless. Again, remember to always turn it off. The button seems fragile (and likely quite vulnerable to water/dust ingress), but it was also cheap. Biggest problem would be if it dies, it’s harder to use the mount to actually take pictures. Mount seems fine / reasonably sturdy / simple. Not very svelt or cool looking, but hey, it’s a camera mount and it holds my phone, even in my oversized case. Win.
