A mostly self-cleaning brush.
The worst part of using a brush attachment on a vacuum is the cleanup, cleaning the brush has got to be one of the more unsavory aspects of cleaning and this tool takes away most of that hassle. A few slow and quick twists while vacuuming it and most of the debris that would otherwise be hanging off of it is now gone. This brush is great for vacuuming hard surfaces with corners and areas that are harder to reach with other attachments while it doesn’t do well on carpet.The plastic seems to be a cheaper matte plastic everywhere but where it connects to the vacuum and the spring on the attachment mechanism seems to be lighter in comparison to the brand attachments although it feels like a quality spring mechanism that doesn’t seem like it will break for years to come.The good:- The attachment mechanism fits well on the Dyson v8- Brush fibers are soft and don’t seem like they will scratch anything.- Cleaning mechanism works on larger clumps that form after using a brush attachment.- Great at cleaning corners and other small crevices.The bad:- The plastic seems to be a different material between the attachment area and the rest of the brush with its matte finish.- Doesn’t work well on carpet.- The mechanism to clean the brush doesn’t clean it completely (although it does to a functional degree.)

Works Great for Dusting Blinds!
This attachment fits my Dyson V11 perfectly. I was looking for a way to speed up the process of cleaning the dust off of our blinds. This is our first house with blinds. We moved into this house about 2-1/2 years ago. and had never dusted the blinds. I had tried other methods such as a cloth and a special tool that has “round microfiber fingers”. The trouble with both of these methods was I had to constantly clean the cloth or the fingers. Additionally, they would push some of the dust off of the blinds and it would fall on the couch, other furniture or the floor. With this vacuum attachment the dust is sucked up instead of dropping off. The brushes are super soft and easily mold around the individual blinds. Some of the blinds will now need a “wet” cleaning due to previous owners somehow marking them. Before doing any wet cleaning, being able to easily dust them is a must.I have also used this vacuum to dust my Blue Tooth computer keyboard and a digital recorder that I own. It works great for getting into the crevices on these devices.

Functional no rubber bumper
It functions and attaches to my v8. The rubber bumper described in the images on the end is hard plastic.

Dysonâs BIG mistake fix!
An antidote for Dysonâs big mistake. Big mistake. A vacuum cleaner should suck when it is turned on. Thatâs what they were made for. This is a workaround for a huge mistake made by a very good company. Come on Dyson! The very least you could do would be to include one of these with every purchase? IT BROKE AFTER THREE WEEKS!!

Works great, super convenient
This is great and was much cheaper than the name brand. Works perfectly with my Dyson v8. Easy to use. I did put it on the wrong end first and realized it wasnât right. Put it on the end closest to the handle.

Doesn’t move the trigger enough to actuate
Don’t bother. You slide this thing onto the bottom trigger guard and it can only go so far onto it, then you rotate the lever which turns the rod inside which causes about a mm of travel to occur in the trigger. Perhaps our trigger is farther away but this thing barely moves it at all. Can’t recommend.
