LOVE!!! I would have paid double just to have this
I’ve had a lot of tinico vacuums and vac/mops. A serious love hate relationship. On one hand I love this brand. Everything about it is superior to Dyson price/suction/customer service/design. However, They don’t last me very long. A variety of issues arise and even though they have a good return/replacement policy.. I can’t go a 1/2 day without vacuuming ( kids and many foster pets that shed and shed and shed) so the time consuming return process is not optimum for me. I have a vac/mop right now that’s holding up pretty well but my standard vacuum had to go. The issues are a fault of every cordless stick vacuums I’ve ever had. An inability to set it aside.. upright. . I . lean the vac up against a wall or a counter and it slides down and smashes into the floor which usually breaks the canister off or those little tabs that click it back into place break and then I can’t put the canister back on. Or the door clasp gets cracked and the door swings open… dumping all the dirt on the floor just as I’m finishing. grrrrr so I set out to buy my 6th Tinico vacuum and figured maybe a higher end model.?? Then I saw the price $699!!! I mean, I have to vacuum and I vacuum so often that it’s a good investment for me, but I can’t justify that $$$ How can anyone justify that. Until I realized Amazon Prime Day was starting…At 50% off it was $311. Still expensive BUT these attributes might justify the cost …(If they worked as advertised. #1 a floor stand that will charge the vacuum as well as give it a place to park, right without having to screw something into the wall and Not having to wrangle cords around the other things in the utility area in order to plug the thing in. ( EXCELLENT… works great as advertised) #2 tangle free roller -they all say this, but honestly, I’ve not had that experience. I have long haired cats and long haired kids, and I am constantly taking hair out of the rollers ( EXCELLENT… not a single hair has been wrapped around the brush) #3 self cleaning cleaning apparatus. This one pretty much explains itself who doesn’t want to vacuum that will clean itself… But I spend so much time cleaning my cleaning tools before cleaning my house.. if this works as advertised, it would be a game changer for me. (I am pleased to say it works! phenomenally I’ve not had a single problem with it) #4 green floor light HOLY COW! It’s a double edged sword without the light is like magic it illuminates every single speck of dust fur on your floor, so you can really get it all, but the problem is it illuminates every single speck of dust and dirt on your floor and I had no idea I was living in ignorance of how filthy my house truly is.All the things I loved in the description of the vacuum actually worked as advertised and I’m slightly obsessed with her.!!But no one can ever make a perfect vacuum so here are some things I don’t like.#1 Its really really loud. Oddly loud. Vacuums have gotten so quiet. This is like we’ve gone back decades and it almost sounds like a playing card stuck in a bicycle wheel. #2 the dust bin door isn’t designed to be opened by hand so it’s tricky to pry it open if you need to get in there.#3 only 2 speeds of suction. ( my last vac had 3 speeds and I’m constantly shutting the vacuum down accidentally cycling through the speeds. #4 the price… even on sale•*** it’s been 1 month and I LOVE her. The self cleaning feature is amazing! I never realized how much I dreaded cleaning and all the vacuum maintenance on the vacuum itself until I didn’t have to do it anymore. I’m not thrilled with how lboud it is, but the good outweighs the bad so much so that I would have gladly paid the the full retail value just to have this lovely machine.

    Almost Perfect!!
Looks beautiful. Works great. Only one problem. Don’t just lean it up against a wall on a hard floor like tile. The base will slide and the unit will go crashing down. This couldn’t/wouldn’t happen if there were a lock in the upright position.

    I’ve vacuumed 60 years…
…and this is hands down the best most fun (yes, I said fun) vacuum I have used. Every day I use it with 2 cats and a dog, and every day I feel like Velma from the Jetsons ;)For a small house size with hardwood plus rugs and some carpet the suction, and battery life are fantastic. Plus, it’s light for the job and goes under everything totally flat. I just love it!I waited for black Friday to purchase at a discount and I am so glad I did. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this vacuum.

    Not as Described
I love the green light that shows EVERYTHING, every hair and piece of dust. Other than that, I’m quite disappointed, especially at this price point. It is not multi-surface. The roller immediately shuts off when I try to vacuum my cashmere rug – even at the lowest setting. It is supposed to empty into the base cannister but it doesn’t. It makes a lot of noise like it’s sucking it into the base cannister but the. The debris compartment on the vacuum is still full after it cycles, more often than not, and if we’re lucky enough for it to empty, the debris gets stuck in the top of the base cannister, so when I go to empty it, all of it falls out onto the floor and I end up using my hand held vacuum to clean the mess. It does not stand up on its own, so you have to hold the vac the entire time it’s off the base. I should’ve returned it when it was still an option but I thought it was maybe user error in the beginning- it is not, and now I’m stuck with it

    Great concept, needs more work
Pros: This vacuum has a really nice look and a great concept with the auto-empty. I like the green light as well which helps find those pesky crumbs you can’t see but feel with your bare feet. The weight is great and the handle is very comfortable. I really like the dock which is very good looking and the functionality of it being a disposal and a charger.Con’s: Unfortunately even with the green light, this vacuum doesn’t pick up those crumbs on the first pass. Sometimes it takes several passes to get it up which is a bit frustrating for the cost. It also can’t handle a light weight rug. I tried to vacuum my ruggable and it kept shutting off. The same thing happened with a thin door mat- it just could not vacuum it so the entire thing would stop working. There is no ability to tell it which mode to run in so even trying to vacuum in eco mode isn’t an option as the vacuum wants to pick it’s own mode.Ultimately I really wanted this to work but the cons outweighed the pros for this one. Hopefully tineco will work on some of these suggestions and come out with a better more functional vacuum down the line.

    WIFE LOVES IT
This is so cool, the green lights show every thing on the floor. Wife can’t believe how much dust gets on the floor every day. The self clean feature works great too, just hang the vac on the stand and it will empty it and suck all the dirt out of the tubes and beater bar

    I love this vacuum
The battery life is great even on turbo mode. Overall, it’s pretty loud but the it’s got a powerful suction… so it makes sense. It’s very light weight and the charging/cleaning tower is awesome. I have 2 cats and it doesn’t get stuck in the brush bar. It also holds about 2 weeks of vacuuming their hair. It’s expensive compared to a lot of other options, but it’s worth it. Especially because it empties automatically when you put it on the charger. Lastly, the green light does a great job at showing what’s on the floor.
