Saves time, handles tough jobs and doesn’t get plugged up with fine dust.
We leave our windows open 8 months of the year, so the dust that gets through the screens is perfect for clogging filters. Our newest 2 battery cordless vac would get plugged up every 3rd or 4th use. It took a long time to clean all 4 HEPA filters and I hated it. This Wet Dry Vac sucks up pine needles, lots of dog fur, lots of dust, and since the dust is in water, there is no tedious filter cleaning. It handles 32 oz sugary coffee spills, and dog vomit. Perhaps because we have well water, the first gob of wet fur/dirt I threw out in the laundry room reeked in 2 days. I now put the dirt/fur wads on a paper towel and when I’m done, it goes in the garage trash. The loose rinsed parts (roller, dirty water tank, roller cover) go in a small $store dish drainer in an airy spot to prevent souring, instead of leaving them in the closet on the stand. I saved the small solution bottle as it fits in the dish drainer. The clean water solution hasn’t soured yet so I don’t empty that tank after use. On our newest LVT floor, it leaves bar streaks visible when the sun is low, yet the floor feels squeaky clean to bare feet. It does well on our rough surface porcelain tile bath floor, old Pergo, sheet vinyl, a non wood look LVT and Marmoleum. I chose this model because it cleans right to the edge. It’s so satisfying when the side of the vac barely touches a fur puff and it’s sucked up. It’s surprisingly quiet.

Generally great, but a few things to consider if upgrading
This replaced my S3 that i bought in 2020, which worked great until a pump failed. I believe this and the S3 are generally very equivalent in overall cleaning ability. Compared to the S3:The S6 can get closer to baseboards and some obstacles because the brush is open on both ends allowing it to do a better job at edge cleaning. Also, the brush housing is slightly more narrow, so it can get into spaces the S3 could not, such as between a toilet and the wall. Definitely a positive. However, the brush housing is just a fraction taller than the S3 so it doesn’t fit into to cabinet toe kicks by just the smallest amount.I’m not crazy about the S6 fresh water tank. I find it harder to fill and to insert than the S3, though it does appear to be a bit larger and the design does appear to allow the dirty water tank to be a bit larger as well. Longer clean times are good, of course, so maybe this is a fair trade.The S6 prompts when the fresh water tank runs empty and my S3 never did (though I think it was supposed to do so).The S6 seems to go through battery life faster than the S3, but not enough that it is ever an issue for me.The S6 definitely takes longer and uses more batter during self cleaning, but appears to do a better job at self cleaning.The S6’s dirty water tank seems to do a better job of catching debris at the top.Overall, I am very happy, but I am also very glad that I did not buy any of the alternate models with extra features, such as steam, because if the mop head was even 1/16 of an inch taller, the inability to get under toe kicks would have made it far less useful. If you can can’t clean under your cabinets,, you will have to spend as much time with another tool just getting those areas.

I had high expectations for the Tineco Floor ONE S6, but unfortunately, my experience has been underwhelming. Here’s a breakdown of the issues I encountered:1. Small Water Tanks: Both the clean and dirty water tanks are too small. In “Power Wash” mode, the clean water runs out quicklyâbarely enough to clean half of a 1,000 sq. ft. floor.2. Disgusting Residue: When dust mixes with the dirty water, it creates a murky mess that can be quite off-putting to clean.3. Lack of Mop Air Drying: There is no built-in air-drying feature for the mop roller. If you donât remove it and dry it manually after each use, it starts to smell unpleasant.4. Weak Battery Life: The battery doesnât last long enough for larger spaces. For two floors totaling around 2,000 sq. ft., I had to charge the device twice and refill/dump the water tanks four times.5. Performance vs. Expectations: Given the premium price, I was hoping for a more seamless and efficient cleaning experience. Unfortunately, the limitations make it frustrating to use for bigger cleaning tasks.If you are willing to overlook these shortcomings, the device might still work for you. A more labor-saving product. The first time I used the machine to self-clean I forgot to put the filter in and it leaked all over the floor. The second time I paid attention to the machine’s instructions and operated it without error and it was just as easy to use. There is vacuuming when mopping, cleaner than the average mop.
