This is way too cumbersome, awkward, and bulky for me. Just trying to pry some of the attachments out of the box is causing me more physical pain than I started with. So far I haven’t even been able to fully assemble it properly. Basically, I’ve got it together, but there is one connection that just won’t screw in completely straight no matter how many times I try. True, there is also one piece that I haven’t yet been able to identify where it goes, no help from the instructions, but it clearly doesn’t go into the spot where I’m having trouble. Things look a bit corroded in that area, which to me is the more likely cause of my issues. The unit slides around a bit when I’m trying to use it, which I suspect it might do whether it’s properly screwed in or not. The attachments are mostly smooth, and metal. Most of them feel uncomfortably cold against my skin. I’m finding it awkward and clumsy trying to reach certain areas. Even just basic maneuvering is challenging. The velcro seems impossible to open. The roller makes so many weird noises, I don’t like using it.The good news is at times I can reach some of the harder to reach areas and it does feel really good. But overall for me, this product is more trouble than it’s worth. I’ll probably either take this apart, use it in easier to manage sections and throw the rest away, or I’ll end up donating it. I’m sure someone out there with less pain, and more patience, strength, and coordination than me can put it to good use. I wanted to find something that was helpful and relaxing for me, but this isn’t it. It’s not worth it to me to even try to find storage space for something this bulky. I have many other, smaller massage tools that get similar results while being easier to use. This product is well padded, has a comfortable grip and does seem of good quality overall, except for that one area that looks like it’s corroding.

I wanted to use this “The Bond Wand IASTM Tool Set” for occasional use on my scapular area pain mostly, and I have found the ball attachment to be most useful of the accessories for that area, even as a beginner with this set.The tool and accessories all come well-situated in a molded form box, with the lid of the box being a convenient magnetic closure and a carry handle. I did find that the end of the “U” shaped handle attachment had some sort of white substance on it which a quick wipe with a napkin did not remove, so I will need to use some sort of disinfectant to remove this, which is why I took off a star. The large wand is very sturdy and has barely any give, which is very good for getting at my back scapula area without losing the spot once I’ve found it. This is non-electronic and relies solely on one’s own efforts and strength for intensity, which I like. The scraper attachments could be useful for athletes as well as others that get tight muscles in their legs, but I would suggest consulting one’s own physician prior to use if one suffers from any sort of condition which involves circulatory or other issues, of course. The pieces go back into the molded foam interior of the case fairly easily, and once folded back, the entire set fits neatly and conveniently under one’s bed, elevated sofas, and also perhaps even a comfortable large chair.I noticed that the metal accessory pieces are smudge-resistant, which is great and the black plastic pieces are solid and I think are made to hold up well. Although using this set to the fullest requires a somewhat steep learning curve for me, included is a very informative and helpful user booklet with plenty of information, tips and photos.I like using this versatile set much more than my old limited-use, standard, “S” shaped plastic tool to get at my scapula pain because this provides a less flimsy, much less awkward way to get at the pain areas and try to loosen the tight, aching area with greater precision and efficacy. Thanks for reading.

My shoulders, mid and lower back were pleased to be introduced to my third arm. It comes with good instructions and all the parts needed to reach usually inaccessible body parts to help with pain relief. It’s also really good quality.I’ve finally found a great pillow, and until the search for the perfect (for me) mattress ends, this massager will be invaluable.

The Bond Wand is really nicely made. This thing is solid. Metal components. Everything bolts together. It’s great quality. However, I just find it completely too cumbersome and complex for what it’s doing. There are solid one piece canes that do the same thing as this and take up way less space to store. Granted, this has additional attachments but you’re not gaining that much for it. You actually strap this thing to your arm, and I just do not see the benefit in this. The simple counter pressure you can apply on the handles does the same thing with out the need to strap it to your arm. The velcro that straps it to your arm is incredibly secure as well. Again – very well made. Just unnecessarily complex.

The Bond wand has a ton of potential and I have successfully used it to relieve tightness in my back, neck, arms and legs. However, it is cumbersome and takes practice to use. I find the images in the instructions to be inadequate. The booklet is full of jargon, but no real substance. The tips are very similar to tools used by my physical therapist, and I think they would be fantastic with guided training on how to use them. As it is, I’m just poking at things and guessing what to try. The Bond Wand also needs to come with a storage case or bag to keep everything together. There was also one extra piece in the box that was not explained in the instructions (see second picture). I finally figured out that it is a replacement pin for the “free handle.” I can easily see how the pin could get lost. There is no replacement spring, however. All in all, the Bond Wand still seems like a prototype, but if it catches on, I hope they will make some detailed videos on how to use it: After stretching? With warm muscles or cold? Can/should you heat or cool the tips? How to avoiding bruising yourself? How much pressure to use?
