Smart and Capable
I’ve owned a few smart vacuum cleaners before this one and the last one I had was a Wyze vacuum that I got as a gift, so I just let it sit there really. So, this was quite an upgrade on features and options, but the main reason I am leaving this review is to note the consideration by this company to create a good design and think of everything a consumer might want or do and how to solve it. Is it perfect? No, but you will definitely appreciate this x-factor that TPLink (Tapo & Kasa) has in their stuff.Random Pro’s List———————-* Even on full suction it’s not loud and can be spoken over by raising your voice just a bit.* It is Matter compatible. If you are buying anything new for your home that uses electricity this is a MUST have option. Go check Matter out, it’s very cool.* There is a battery COMPARTMENT. Two screws and you can open up and remove the battery and replace it yourself. No need to pay someone or buy a vacuum that is just garbage if the battery dies. Support this move as consumers for sure.* The lidar might be bog standard for current gen vacuums, I don’t know, but this one was very quick, precise and had a long range. The mapping was perfect.* It MOPS! This is a light duty mop job, but do it more often means needing to do it as one big job.* Just enough shiny piano black on it to look nice but also not look like a roving dust magnet. The satin finish is very nice.* Don’t know if this is current gen standard, but it RARELY uses it’s bumper. A few others I had seemed to use the room map as a suggestion and used their bumpers like curb feelers. No baseboard scuffs here.* Tapo’s Home app is fantastic, and the vacuum section is no different. Very great attention to detail and I love having options for everything to really make it my own.* Tons of modes and options. You can tell it to clean the whole house but specify the living room should get three passes, etc.Random Con’s List (KAHN!)———————-* The side spiny brush screws on. Just and odd detail. The cleaning tool should have a little phillips screwdriver. This might be for a damn good reason that I have not realized yet but it’s odd not being able to just pop it off.* I don’t know how obvious it is, but you have to fill the mop with water from the tap and put the mop pad on it before it mops. Then you need to remove the mop pad before it can vacuum carpet. No biggie, but this only empties the dust side. The mopping has a bit of manual setup and clean up.* The mop tank and system only supports water. The manual is very clear to not add anything else.* The whole thing came with a replacement door that covers the roller brush, one dust bag (installed), and that’s it. I was expecting an spare side brush, filter, and maybe cleaning tool. You do not get those.* None of the printed materials gave any indication on where or what type of bags to buy. No QR codes, no suggestions, nothing. Maybe these bags are pretty standard? Idk.Ok, that’s a pretty long review. If it’s in your price range, you cannot go wrong here. Great vacuum.

Great vacuum
I researched and compared many brands of robot vacuums. I knew I wanted one that self emptied, but was largely unsure if a mop was a necessity. Iâve used it twice now for vacuuming and once for mopping and Iâm super impressed.Set up was easy and fast. The mapping feature is top notch on the app and the vacuum goes around the edge of each room before proceeding in straight lines across the room, soothing my OCD. It cleans well enough for daily pick ups to keep the tidiness of the floors up. I think my expectations of the mopping function were too high, but again it will do the job of keeping the floors tidy and clean. Overall functions great and I love it more than I even thought. With 3 kids and 2 cats, this is definitely a game changer in keeping the house and my sanity in order.

Works Great!
We absolutely love it! It takes the weight of cleaning off of our shoulders! It was super easy to set up, the battery life lasts a long time. I love how smart it is and how to can map out the rooms. Definitely worth the price!

Very good room navigation
This is my third vacuum bot and the first one that actually works reasonably well, The app is decent and shows the bot location and the cleaning path.I wish it dealt better with hair though and that is why I removed a star. I had to clean hair off the main brush already. The docking station uses bags and honestly I donât mind. They are cheap to replace and means there is no dust to deal with when emptying the dock. Super easy to deal with.I have been using it two months now so time will tell how well it holds upâ¦

Great vacuum, does works exactly as promised
This guy is quieter than our old Roomba, cleans at least as well, and mops the floors to boot. I was skeptical when I paid about 1/3 the price of our 2 year old Roomba. I thought the Tapo was all hype and would really be a disappointment. I was wrong. This thing is awesome and it’s better in every way. The app is soo much more functional and configurable than the Roomba. I love that it can be customized in a ton of ways. The old Roomba was pretty much just on or off. Yes, you could modify the map of the house, but there were no settings for *how* it cleans. The Tapo changes that, and there’s tons of options for cleaning performance. Overall, very pleased. Especially considering the price. Overall I give it an A+.

Mapping is easy
Mapping out the rooms is easy. Cleaning out looks to be easy and no hassle, so far so good . Whole house or each room at a time and cleans well. Vacuum power and multiple repeats are programable.

Wonderfully Smart
We have had this product running for about a week now, got this for my Mom and she absolutely loves how the system maps rooms and how she can send the vacuum to certain rooms or zones when in need; no more random bumping and random sweeps from our old one. The mopping part may feel a bit cheesy, but we tested and rinsed the small mopping pad with hot water after a zone-specific cleaning and we were happy with the results. The suction power is phenomenal. With this model, you have Quiet, Standard, Turbo, Max, and even ULTRA MODE. The Tapo App is designed very well and is fast. The developers seem to understand to compile the Tapo App in the most efficient way possible to load quickly; who wants to wait 20 seconds to turn on or off a smart light, or switch etc. We hope that Tapo keeps this App light weight and DOES NOT laden with ads.
