Good, small shop-vac
Plenty of suction, I bought it to use with a Neutripure backpack as a portable shop-vac. Although the hose is a small diameter I’ve been surprised what it will pull thru, dry small leaves etc. Some of the reviews seem confused about this thing, it’s a wet/dry shop-vac, intended for outdoors or garage/workshop use, not a domestic Dyson/Miele/HEPA type vacuum cleaner.1. It comes with a coarse foam filter installed in the top part, which would require taking screws out etc if u had to get at it.2. It also comes with 2 other filters, a clothy one for normal use and a foam one for wet use. In the box they put the foam one inside the cloth one, just to amuse themselves I guess. These are mounted over a plastic filter frame that sticks down from the top part of the machine. Either of these filters are held on by an non-stretchy plastic band, when this breaks I guess you use blue tape or an ~8″ hose band.3. It also comes with a paper disposable type bag, like domestic vacuums used to.You use it with either the clothy filter (dry stuff) or the foam one (wet), and the contents accumulate in the metal canister and you empty it when full, OR you put the paper filter over the inlet nozzle inside the canister, it wraps around the canister and is held in place by the filter assembly of the top part when u clip it back on. When it’s full I guess u throw it away, then work out why u bought a shop-vac if u really wanted a house vacuum cleaner.4. It comes with no manual or instructions whatsoever so u have to use Amazon etc for that information.5. It comes with the wheels in a bag that you would pop into the slots in the base, if u want to use it that way.6. It comes with the base attached but the base is easy to remove, it’s held on by 4 little springy bits and u lever them off with a screwdriver 7. The hose & attachments are cheapo plastic, the only thing that fastens together “properly” is where the hose screws onto the canister. The other pieces all push together, but they stay together ok, and if not u could always use blue tape.Other than all that, u turn it on, use it then empty it. If the clothy filter gets blocked when using it for sheetrock dust etc then u rinse it, like u would the canister filter for the fatter type of vacs, ie buy this for what it is, not what it isn’t.

got for my senior mom – other vacuums too heavy and hard to clean – looked for one that was lite weight – easy for a senior to open and move around and didnt cost a fortune – put this together last night and used as dry vac – worked great super easy to use move around house- my mom can lift and carry with no issues – have not used as wet vac yet but so far i am super happy with it on all accounts – also a special feature for my mom – the hose screws on so wont pop off while she uses it as many shop vacs do this is a major plus – triple A+ i am very happy with the total unit and easy of using

Narrow but tippy
It’s tall so it’s prone to tipping over, but it’s narrow so when I’m carrying it around it doesn’t bang into my shins. I’m 5’4″ and had the worst time moving our old widebody shop vac.I haven’t had to use the wet vac feature yet, but I ordered this as we got ready to have all the flooring replaced in our house because everything was going to get covered in construction dust. Two weeks of moveout + construction cleaning and it hasn’t even filled half the tank.

Light duty and stylish
It’s a nice light duty shop vac. The stainless body is not an eyesore. Seems to work well. Only downside is that the tall / narrow design causes it to tip over if you attempt to pull it over even small obstacles. That said, the narrow footprint also makes it easier to store.

VERY Loud and Average Suction
For a long time, I kept the vacuum because it was used sparingly. However, after two years of limited use I decided to THROW IT OUT. The motor is excrutiatinly loud and from the beginning the suction has been below average. DO NOT Buy.

Has strong suction. Seems well built. Is very loud. Is top heavy and topples over easily. Not packaged well for shipping. Comes in very thin cardboard box. Box was damaged and vacuum had signifigant dent. Tempted to return it but not worth the trouble. Was able to knock most of dent out. Does not effect opperation. Stanley makes good products but probably will not order anything else due to poor packaging. Do not like receiving damaged tools.

This vacuum is the perfect garage and car vacuum. Its my second one after the first died after a very long life. I replaced it with a mastercraft version but it just wasn’t as good as this one. The cord on this is good and long and overall its a tight footprint for storage. Also, I pulled off the original hose and replaced it with a longer one from an accessory kit (easy upgrade).
