This has been a pretty good shop vac so far. Good suction. The handle on the top can be used to wrap up the power cord. Rolls nicely. Keeps fine dust from sanding inside where it belongs. Bags and filters are easy to change. And I havenât had any issues getting replacement bags/filters for it. (Thereâs a number to call for replacements in the manual and on the vacuum bag it comes with, but I havenât had any trouble finding what I need on the internet or Amazon.)The only time this has ever tipped over on me was when it got hung up on something in its path (tools, etc). As long as itâs on a smooth surface (hard flooring, short-medium carpet, cement flooring) it should roll just fine. The hose is a little bit stiff, but not too bad. Itâs still easy to use. Though I usually have it attached to an extension for using it with power tools that require dust management (palm sander, drywall sander). The tools all mount right on the base so as long as you remember to put them back, they wonât get lost easily. And they all work pretty well. They stay connected together, even when vacuuming carpet and leftover sanding dust off walls.Just be careful going over/around painted surfaces like walls, the black plastic can leave marks on the paint, a bit like shoes leaving black marks on certain flooring.Overall, Iâm pretty happy with this vacuum.

Great Vacuum for the Price
Had a larger canister vacuum by another maker and the motor died, so we replaced it with this one. It is small but large enough to do the job we needed- basic clean up of the garage, cars, carpentry dust, and other messes. Suction is really good. The unit is very light which is great but it also tends to be easy to topple for the same reason. Wheels roll ok… not fantastic… but acceptable. Reusable blue dust filter cleaned up great rinsing under the water in the sink after a few hours of dusty garage cleanup. Have not used the paper bags yet. Hose is sufficiently long enough and tools give you options. Would like a tool with a brush on it for things like ceiling spider webs and the like but just a preference- not a necessity. Really like the steel canister rather than a plastic one. Really like that there is a place to wrap the power cord (the old one didn’t have that- which was annoying.) Tools can be stored on the base. A little difficulty getting the top on the canister at first. It has to be lined up so it doesn’t hit the inside valve. Also like that the hose click in place and there is a tab to push in to remove it. The old vacuum’s hose was ALWAYS pulling out- which was infuriating. Very pleased with this vacuum- especially for the price.

Very very nice
Very sharp looking shop vac, came with standard attachments and decent size cord. Love the bag option as well as it’s easy to attach.I bought this as we have fur babies that shed horribly so thought by looking at picture it would be perfect to use as a “vacuum” as per hair is horrible on standard vacuums. But the bigger attachment just isn’t big enough to do so, at least not for a big room.Other than that it’s great, super good suction power. Great cord length. The swivel wheels work perfectly! Love the looks of it. Would buy again for sure!

A good vacuum
We’ve renovating and this vacuum has been amazing! We love it. We’ve had a few issues with it getting clogged with larger debris, but that’s not often and it’s usually with fairly large chips of wood or wallpaper that we really should be sweeping. When it clogs, it’s fairly easy to clean out. The attachments work well. Occasionally, a larger flexible hose would be handy for high up spots, but the vacuum is light enough that we can get around that by having someone hold up the vacuum itself. A hardy workhorse of a vacuum

Very Pleased
I like Everything about this wet n dry vac. It’s suction is great. I haven’t used the wet yet, but I am very enthused about it. I trust the brand Stanley and with good reason. Multiple things are in my household with the Stanley brand on them. Never had to take anything back. Very reliable. I have cleaned everything from floors to my fireplace with this vac and it does a great job. People have complained about the handle, but I don’t have any issues with it. Very light weight. The blower part of this product is awesome too. The hose is nice and long. Plenty of onboard tools to use. Easy cleanup. I would recommend this to Anyone without fear of bad feedback. Thanks for such a great product

Excellent unit! Efficient and VERY powerful!
Even i wasted 1.5 hours trying to figure out how this blasted unit works, I give it high marks for performance. The very-reasonable price makes this even a better investment. The support line was not available when i called; open til 6p CST?. The web site has no online manual. There are no videos anywhere on the web to show how this works!I needed this for mainly for fine dirt. When i finally did connect w/support, they advised that the best way to use this is to use the foam filter, covered by the blue cloth reusable filter, and the (large) disposable brown bag.I’ve owned wet/dry vacs before, but this is the 1st unit that sucks and blows at the same time. I was concerned that stuff would start blowing out of the blower port; but, after vacuuming a LOT of stuff over several hours, this did not happen.

Love my shop vac! Short cord but….
This is the lightest shop vac I have ever had! It is easy to use, moves well, easy to empty and vacuums great! The only drawback is the short cord! I was the cord was a lot lot longer!!!! I have a 20 foot drop cord that I use with it! Other than that, I love it!

We ordered this vac because we have two giant breed long haired dogs. The amount of dust and hair in our home is phenomenal. We go through vacuums like there is no tomorrow as they can’t cope. Even vacuums entitled “for pets”. After the vacuum we had for 3 months got so clogged that it had to go in the shop for repairs, I decided that a shop vac would be more practical. Not so many moving parts, nothing much to get clogged up and a big capacity for holding what it picks up. I ordered the Stanley shop vac. I purchased the stainless steel 4hp 22 litre model. The first thing I noticed was that apart from the stainless steel drum, the rest of it was very cheap plastic. The heads are very cheap and nasty. So is the hose. They cannot be used on mats or rugs at all. It has a thin line of bristles on it, but that’s all. The main motor part is easy to take off and put on, but again, the clasps that hold it on to the main body won’t last too long so far as I can see. They do not clamp it that tight already. The on/off swtch again is cheap plastic and after only a couple of uses, is getting wobbly and loose. The power lead is only 10 feet long! Who makes a vacuum with only a 10ft long power lead? Yes you can use it with an extension lead so long as it’s one that is for use outside for garden tools. The suction is good there is no denying that. It also has a blower feature which I like and may well be useful in the future. There was a part missing when it arrived. That is the clamp that holds the two filters on to the motor. When I first used it I tied them with a piece of string to keep them on. I had to order a clamp from Amazon which cost me $12 or so. Then I had to order a different head for the wand so that it could be used on rugs and carpets. That cost me arorund $15 from EZ Spares. That arrived yesterday along with the clamp. The new head works much better, though it’s not as good as a traditional vacuum, but it has retractable bristles and the base is metal so it glides over the mats. We have mostly hard floors but several mats down so our dogs don’t slip around too much. I have mobility issues and so this is definitely lightweight and much easier for me to move around than an upright vacuum. The recent vacuum that went wrong was so heavy that I could barely move it. My husband used the new head on the Stanley this morning to clean the mats of dog hair. Within a very short time, the wand (not the head) got clogged up. This is because the wand is very narrow. It should be much wider than 1.25 inches if you are going to be picking up all sorts of debris from a shop floor or in our case dog hair. While it’s easier to unclog the wand than it is to unclog the workings of an upright vacuum, I did not expect this to happen. What I’d like is a cleaning head which is motorised. That would make it much easier all round. The wand is also too short. I’m 5ft 8 and it’s not long enough for me to use without bending. Another 4 or 5 inches would make all the difference. Would I buy one again? No. If you’re short, have dogs but not giant hairy Leonbergers like us, then it will probably be great for you. But if you’ve got a giant hairy breed that moults all year long (it feels like that anyway) you may find the wand gets clogged too often.

I purchased the Stanley Wet/Dry Vacuum, 6 Gallon, 4 Horse, and overall, it has been a mixed experience, warranting a 3-star rating.I returned it back. The vacuumâs suction power is commendable, handling both wet and dry messes with relative ease. The 6-gallon capacity is sufficient for most household tasks, and the 4-horsepower motor ensures that it can tackle heavier debris without much trouble. The included attachments are useful, offering versatility for various cleaning scenarios. However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. First, the build quality feels somewhat flimsy. The plastic parts donât seem very durable, and Iâm concerned about their longevity with regular use. Additionally, the noise level is quite high, making it uncomfortable to use for extended periods.
