Works for me
This has worked fine for my needs. I can’t give it five stars because it does not have the shield shown in the photo, as my original hose does, and because it is not a perfect fit. It fits my ShopVac well enough to work, so I’m happy, but it does not actually screw on all the way like the original.

Had to modify
Had to unscrew the vacuum end and put the old on the hose so it would fit. This is false advertising that it would fit my shop vacuum.

Old hose was broken. This hose was the perfect fit for a Stanely 2.8 vac. Hose was shorter than I imagines but it fits securely.

The extending part of the hose that some people are cutting off as shown in these reviews is needed to penetrate the dust bag. The hose I received doesnât have that extension and therefore the dirt will not go into the bag.
