Works!
Wow I wish I had a video review because I don’t think written reviews are doing this product justice. This stuff is uh-mazing!The Disaster:I had just moved into a new apartment and decided to do some laundry and see if I could meet a cute girl (you know, recreate the scene in 40 Days and 40 Nights). So anyways, I unwittingly didn’t cap my Tide bottle. By the time I realized, I had a thick laundry detergent line running from the back of the building, up the stairs and straight into my apartment where I successfully had a very thick line running all over the new brown carpet. It also got all over my pants and shoes. So I was like “Awesome!”. But not really. I quickly panicked and filled a bucket with hot water and a rag and scrubbed furiously at the carpet. I thought this did the trick, but over the next few days the line reappeared and it was much darker. Very obvious. My roommate wasn’t as stoked that I successfully lost our deposit in such an admirable way. But wait! The Master Plan:So that happened weeks ago. I moved in on December 9th, and ruined the carpet two days later. Well, it was January 10ish before I decided to review some products online and see if I could fix this problem. I stumbled upon Spot Shot and decided to give it a chance (I didn’t think it would work, thought it was too good to be true). I had already waited a month and when I had tried to clean the stains I had scrubbed into the carpet, not dabbing it like I should have. How Stella Got Her Groove Back:Sooo, I did as the directions on the bottle said: Filled a bucket with hot water, dampened my cloth/rag and rung it out, and started spraying. I would spray about a foot of the stain (it was probably about 6 feet long running through the living room) quite heavily, maybe 15 sprays per 1 foot section. I would let it wait for 1 minutes, then press with the damp cloth and dab and press again and repeat until, voila! It was gone! I was so stoked I made my roommate stop watching TV and watch me clean! This stuff was magic in a bottle! I’m not even kidding! It worked so wonderfully! I just repeated these steps and you can’t even tell I had a stain in my carpet! Not at all! My roommate was just as happy as I was!I recommend this product to everyone and anyone! It works! It works! it wooooooorks!I know this review was random and somewhat incoherent.

Hits the spot!
Anyone with an elderly dog understand my problem. I had been calling in the carpet cleaning service every month, but that is quite costly. No other spot remover/pet odor eliminator proved to very effective, and I was resigned to just tightening my belt and living with the high cost of carpet maintenance. And then I found Spot Shot. This stuff really works. Even non-dog related stains, including the bete noir of beige carpets…red wine…comes up completely. You’re almost tempted to make a stain just to see how fast they disappear. You spray, blot and presto…all gone. That fast. But wait, there’s more. The product is marked Non Toxic and I have no reason to doubt them. Because I have pets, I do not use insect sprays even though I have a terror of all bugs, but especially moths. I was under attack by a really — and I mean really really big one a few nights ago. I generally spray insects with hairspray because it kind of freezes them and you can pick them up with a paper towel and flush them away. But as it happened, I was out of Aqua Net. In panic I grabbed the nearest spray thing and gave the moth, which was hammering around inside a lampshade, one little spritz…and it dropped like a rock. Forget bug sprays. You can kill two bugs with one stone with this stuff.Just a very handy thing to have around.

Better than the aerosol can… able to use all of the product at least.
Even though it is more expensive to purchaxe the pump container of Spot Shot, at least the pump remains functional, unlike the aerosol can. It often malfuntions with the can still practically full.

Gets most stains out
Spot Shot is a very good product and gets most stains out. I was able to get crayons markings and red orange punch from out of the carpet that my 2 yr old grandson left behind. However, it couldn’t get the Downey fabric softener out (he climbed on the washer and got it out the cabinet) in which he so graciously decided to show his creativity on his bedroom carpet. (smh)

Spot on!
I used this so many times so far to remove kombucha spills, chocolate, & cat vomit. Strange combo, I know, but that’s how we do things. My hubby makes his own kombucha, 2 gallons at a time, and he CONSTANTLY spills it on the carpet. That’s where spot shot comes to the rescue. Easter brought a bunch of chocolate eggs and bunnies into the house, so my 2 year old went to town on those and spot shot took care of the chocolate stains that ended up on her easter dress. Lastly, the 2 walking hairballs, my cats. It’s spring, which brings a lot of shedding, after which is a lot of cleaning and licking ALL DAY LONG. So in the middle of the night, after a bunch of nasty heaving, PLOP!, there’s a disgusting vomit hairball waiting for us in the morning (which the cats hope I slip on I’m sure) that needs the attention of spot shot. Thank you makers of Spot Shot! You will always be welcome in my house.

Not worth the time and effort
After reading some of the reviews I was anxious to try this product. Needless to say it didn’t live up to my expectations. I had 3 small coffee stains on my carpet and even after 3 applications the stains are still visible. Yes, it removed most of it but not all as expected. I wouldn’t recommend this product. Resolve works like a charm! My carpet is called Snow White, so you can imagine how delighted I was when the stains disappeared after 1 application. RESOLVE IS YOUR ANSWER TO A CLEAN CARPET!

I had a bright red Kool-Aid stain on my white rug. I ordered this product, not sure how it would go but I was desperate. I canât lie, I was SHOCKED. The stain was a few days old, I sprayed it with this product and let it sit for a few minutes and I blotted it away and it was like the stain never happened.I tried it on a different stain from a few months ago and the same thing. Very little scrubbing involved, if at all.GREAT product. Definitely recommend

I only had to use this once and it removed the stain of an accident our Yorkie had on the living room carpet.

I’ve used this on fresh wine and cherry stains, which disappeared like magic! It works fairly well on most old stains too, i.e. grease. Love this product. Enjoy the peace of mind knowing it is not harmful to pets or children.

Love this product, it works very well but test your carpet because it can bleach the color out. I had an older rug that I used it on and ended up with a white patch. That was my mistake for not testing it first. Works great in my other carpets
