DOES NOT CHARGE AS ADVERTISED!! Solar panel does not work very well.
I was so excited to get this skimmer/surface cleaner for my pool!! I assembled it immediately and charged it overnight, then the next morning set it into the pool to go to work. For the first few days it seemed fantastic, skimmed all leaves, etc from the pool, and ran âmostâ of the day on the solar panel charging system. I will say that if you have an oval or Freeform pool as I do, it is not as effective as when being used in a square or rectangular pool, but initially it still did a pretty good job of skimming the surface. As the days went by, it would last for shorter and shorter lengths of time, and by the beginning of the 2nd week in the pool, I was having to charge it manually EVERY night in order to use it for more than a couple of hours. The product information promised that the cleaner would run all day and night as long as the sun was out during the day. Never happened even once. The second photo attached is an example of what I pulled out of my pool every day even though the skimmer was supposed to be running. The sun must be DIRECTLY on top of the cleaner at ALL times for the solar panel to work. It WILL NOT STORE POWER. By the end of the 2nd week, I was having to manually skim the pool every morning with a net, because the device was sitting still and would not charge at all, or would charge and run for a few minutes to an hour at most, and then stop.Not at all a good value. Basically useless, in fact. I live in Houston, Texas, and we have had endless days of full sun and 90+ degree weather. I have no big trees over my pool in any area which would cause the machine to be shaded for any period of time, so the sun is directly over the pool all day long. But by the third week, I was pulling the device in and out of the pool every single day, and charging with the electrical adapter every night. No thanks. Definite malfunctions of the solar charging system. VERY disappointing!

This product save time on cleaning your pool.
The pool cleaner is a must have if you own a pool. Makes your job easier in keeping your pool clean if you have trees where your pool is located in your yard. Just set it up and it takes care of itself. Self charging with the sun or you can charge with the adapter. The only thing you have to do is empty the basket.I had a question for customer service and they were prompt to answer my question.If you are looking for robot pool skimmer this product will do the trick and make you life easier in keeping your pool clean.

Avoid, Misrepresented Item and Shady Return Policy
This item is not made of Carbon Fiber, it is plastic with fake carbon fiber finish. Both the manufacturer and Amazon listing state Carbon Fiber. Seller approved return but the return label requires that I pay for shipping from FL to CA. After speaking to Amazon I was told that since the seller is a 3rd party seller that I have to pay return shipping if the seller requires it, but after the seller approves my return and issues a refund I can contact Amazon and they will refund my shipping, only “After the seller approves my return and issues a refund”. So, lets say I pay to return and the the seller decides not to approve my refund, then what? I am out the device and I paid to ship it to them. How do you trust a company that operates this way?

Technologically Sound
Product was easy to setup, unfortunately it got stuck in corners of the pool and had to be manually moved. Received quick response from company and expect fast resolution to my issue. Howard Chen was outstanding in resolving my issue.

Do not buy. – Horrible Seller
The product does not work. I have tried multiple times to return and the company just doesnt respond. I hacw sent numerous refund requests and nothing. Horrible seller.
