Lots of power, but loud and limited reach
I have a mini lathe in the basement and got this shop vac to suck up the chips from it. In the past I would bring my way too large Ridged shop vac down there, but it took up so much space I couldn’t leave it in the small room all the time.This little shop vac has as much if not more suction power than that large Ridged vac! I’m amazed at how well it works. Though, with all that power does come more noise. It is uncomfortably loud to be by when it is running. This is made even worse by the fact the hose is so short so you have to carry the vacuum with you everywhere to use it. The electrical cord is also pretty short for a shop vac so you will likely need an extension cord if you plan to use this to clean your car or out in the garage. FYI, I measured about 7.3amps running for this vacuum.

Powerful and Impressive Performance
I ordered the ECOMAX Portable Wet Dry Vac and it exceeded my expectations. This shop vac has powerful and impressive performance. The shop vac is relatively small making it fairly portable and easy to carry and maneuver. I used it to vacuum my car and was pleased with the outcome. It saves me time from going to the car wash and using their vacuum cleaner.The product is well made and durable and the price point is more than fair.

Sometimes you just have to try it
Just purchased this to vacuum my garage and vehicles. I wanted something a bit smaller than my 10 gallon shop vac that stopped working. This little vac is powerful enough to get dog hair from my truck and picked up everything great. More powerful than my Shop Vac. I really like it and the size to store it is perfect. I am indifferent to it not having wheels; my shop vac would always try to roll away from me.

Great Little Shop Vacuum
Purchased for small ‘wet’ clean-ups. Works very well. Anyone who has used a Wet/Dry Vacuum knows they are VERY NOSIE!!! I have ‘ear plugs’. The directions to convert from Wet to Dry are easy to follow. The spills I have to pick-up are small so the 3 gallon capacity works for me. It’s light, easy to handle and doesn’t need much space to store. Love it.

Just what I needed!
It’s light, it’s portable, it can be used with dry messes and wet spills – it does exactly what I need it to! I purposefully selected something that is small and doesn’t have wheels, because I wanted a lightweight vacuum that I could lift to clean ledges and other higher areas. I also wanted to be able to put it in my car.So far, it works quite well with dry debris. I haven’t used it to clean up an wet messes, thankfully. It’s easy to empty the canister and the attachments work well. I’m very pleased!

Good shop vac
I’m not familiar with this brand of shop vac, but it seems to have some power. Rating wise however, I have a smaller one (4 gallon) that has a couple more HP, though this is cheaper. It is loud, but I don’t mind that because it’s a shop vac. I’d rather have good performance and power. There’s no wheels on this, so it’s the carry it with you or leave it in place type, you can’t really drag it along. The power cord is a bit short, so you’re going to need to use an extension cord most likely. The hose is a little stiff, but think that will loosen up in time as you break it in. This is good for cleaning the car because it’s small, and also for taking places in the house that you can’t take the big one, such as the attic. For the price, you really can’t complain too much. It will never replace the big shop vac, but it is handy as a sort of more industrial hand vacuum that you can carry with you, even if it’s only around the house.

For such a small unit, this vacuum is quite strong and works great in the shop.
This includes a foam wrapped filter which can be cleaned and is held in place with a slip collar. It’s working really well and I’ll be purchasing replacement filters as need.The fit between the body of the vacuum and lid is decent, but could be a tiny bit more refined. However, once you turn the vacuum on, the two halves draw down tightly with no apparent loss of vacuum.The attachments are also very nice and will certainly come in handy.The black flexible hose it a little on the stiff side, which is fairly common for hoses which are included with vacuums. I’ll be upgrading to a longer, softer, more flexible hose soon, as this unit is going to be attached a small belt sander and activated with a foot switch.The bottom half of the tub attaches easily with molded clips which part of the upper inject molded housing, which work just fine. Higher priced vacuums use a lock-down claps which hinges, but not on this unit. Again, for a vacuum within this price range, their design is fairly standard.Overall, the vacuum is very nice and will work perfectly for my application.The vacuum pulls quite well, so it’s actually powerful and should work wonderfully for most applications. It’s very light weight and easy to carry around the shop.The extension cord is adequately long for most shops where outlets are generally nearby, but an extension cord will be needed for the far away areas to be vacuum.The vacuum is a little loud, but hey, it’s a vacuum and they’re all pretty much loud. There is not an exhaust muffler included, which to be honest is certainly acceptable as you’re not going to have this turned on for long periods of time. Exhaust mufflers can sometimes reduce suction, so I’d purchase one only if it’s dearly needed.I’m with this little shop vac and look forward to using it for many years to come.
