tough plastic handles withg very good sponges not too soft / hard. Perfect suitable for cleaning algae and other build ups on the tank and interior plastic air pump walls.Suggest to buy this product for cleaning.

It Works!
I have a 36 gallon bow shaped tank and my conventional scraper simply did not work. I had to stick my whole arm into the tank to do the front glass which was curved. Yesterday I received this algae scraper, used it to clean the curved glass and it worked! The long plastic handle does not appear all that sturdy but for its very reasonable price and some care in using it, it should be fine.

This is a good cleaning sponge. The handle it thick enough so it works well. And it is 15″ overall length. Works good with my 20-gallon tanks.

Algae scraper
I got this and was glad. I can clean my aquarium glass without getting my hand in the water. It cleans the glass good and air drys fast.

I first had a magnetic algae cleaner but when I had to get a new cleaner pad, I couldn’t find any so I bought this tank cleaner. Comparatively speaking, this one does not clean the tank as well or as easily. I have a hard time getting the angle right to get the pad flat against the tank sides and then applying enough pressure to actually clean the tank is another battle. Most times I can get the top 2/3 of the tank fairly clean after going over each area several times, but the bottom 1/3 of the tank I have a hard time getting cleaned correctly. The pad on this cleaner is not a solid sponge like pad, it is more like the rubbery plastic bar soap saver pad we have in our bathroom.

The sponge is going strong and works at wiping inside of 10 gallon tank of algae.Would get again if needed.Reasonable price
