Great sturdy little Shop-Vac with many uses.
I’ve had this vacuum for a couple of years now and am now just getting back to writing a review. I have used this vacuum a lot in the garage and basement and have been very satisfied. I have one of those dog hammocks for the back seat of my car so that I can transport the dog for walks and vet visits. Of course the dog sheds and I periodically have to vacuum the hammock and the inside of the car. The powerful suction makes the job a lot easier. The lightweight unit rolls around quite nicely and I have used both the suction and blower capabilities to periodically clean the garage. I’ve also used it to clean basement areas and recently used it to clean up residue left after some plumbing work in the bathroom. Since the tools and hose fit conveniently on the vacuum, it’s easy to port everything around by the handle. I do recommend using the filter bags on the unit and having an extension cord at hand, since the cord on the vacuum is not very long. Its smaller size makes it easy to store under my work bench in the garage.

Cord very short
I love the way this shop vac maneuvers around, but the cord on this thing is too short, had to put an extention cord with it. Haven’t had it very long, but so far it works good. I had a 4 gallon shop vac, cord was a lot longer. I got a good buy on this one so I guess I can’t complain.

Use for home shop vac
I bought this for inside our house to use on laminate floors and.dog hair. The vacuum hose needs to be more sturdy. The suction is awesome and will vacuum floors, furniture and woodwork. It is attractive, light weight and easy to use.

The little vacuum that could and did with ease. It has good suction, rolls easy, can take bags if you want to use. (yes please) I really like the small size, vs the full size shop vacs we have always used in the garage. I bought an upright vac from Amazon that works well, but, the hose is only a few feet long. It cannot be used in most circumstances I always need. The little shop vac is perfect.

Pro- Compact but powerful Full size performance in a manageable size. Wet-Dry. Multiple filter options.Con- Kind of loud. No drain for water.This is my second one. When I saw it on sale I jumped on it. The old one is at least 10 years old and has held up well. We use it to detail our vehicles, around the shop, even picking up spills in the house. Once the AC drain clogged and we had plenty of suction to clear it.The multi filters mean you are not spreading dust, bagging is the best way to go, the main filter stays clean.When detailing a car, you can really use the wet vac on your carpet and cloth seats. We spray distilled water with diluted cleaners, brush, then use the wet vacuum to pull the water out. Seats too. We got a second hose, and added it to the other. So when working on vehicles the canister is able to be out of the way, and not banging up against the car door. Longer hose keeps the noise away from you as well.HIGHLY RECOMMEND ðX-5The size is deceiving, it is the perfect size for it’s purpose.

Complete garbage: horrible materials, worse construction.
This is by far the flimsiest and most poorly designed piece of crap I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even get to use it once before it landed in the garbage. I can’t even return it, it’s just completely a mess.Upon arrival, you must do a bit of assembly. It seems clear enough, use a few screw bolts to attach the handles on the side. Sure. Except the holes in the handles do not align and are the wrong size for the screws. There’s no way in hell you could screw those in by hand. So I get out the cordless drill and give it a shot – but before the screws are even half-way into the handle the body of this thing warps because it’s really just an oversized soda can (except the seems on soda cans have a better finish). So now the top wont fit on properly. I’m convinced at this point that this will never be emptied – I’ll use it once and toss the whole thing in the dumpster – but I don’t get that far as the mesh filter included is apparently the wrong size: it doesn’t fit over the canister/filter – and even the gentlest stretch and the mesh filter’s seem peels apart.So now I have a warped, oversized soda can with dangling handles and a torn mesh filter. The only good thing is that I’m pretty sure this flimsy tin bucket is recycleable. Out it goes without a single use. Complete garbage.

This is a great industry standard workhorse to get the job done. I bought it primarily for water spills and closing down the hot tub for winter. Size is small but when you’re sucking up water you don’t want anything more thank 5 gallons to carry around and break your back emptying it.
