Good. Product but bad assembly instructions
I bought this shop vac because of the reviews about the suction. The shop vac I owned before buying this 5 gallon wet/dry vac.My old one couldn’t even vacuum the ash out of my stove! This new one outshines anything I’ve tried. The only downfall was the assembly instruction. The instructions made no sense, had to get my brother to come help me. Once we got it together, it worked like a beast!

Nice shopvac! Much better than my older little one. Used this with dust separator for router table saw dust and it has worked very well so far. Seems pretty sturdy as well. The roll around cart is handy and I like the two big wheels in the back with two casters up front rather than the normal 4 casters.

Terrible front wheels
The front wheels are terrible. You’ll fight this vacuum every time you try to pull it across the floor. Like a misbehaved child it will go where it wants to and that will not be in a straight line.

Great motor and suction, lousy hoses
What I like: the motor is very strong and the stainless canister is very high- quality.In the middel: the instructions were not helpful, seemingly written by someone who has either no experience assembing things or a poor command of language skills at explaining things.What I do not like: the hoses are AWFUL. They cannot lock- in and they pull out of the hole very easily. The front casters do not swivel well, so the canister goes off this way and that, so badly that it’s useless to try and pull the vacuum along, you have to continuously walk back to it and pull it to where you next want it. The cord – the longest available – is still way to short for a proper shop.Lastly, the hoses build upstatic and delivers regular discharge shocks.I would happily pay more for a product which had locking hoses and better casters.

Great unit until you get to the attachments
This is a powerful unit until you get to the hose. The weak, kinky hose does not match the power, suction of such a nice vac. It really cheapens the entire package. The hose has a tendency to kink causing suction to stop. Even unpacking it I could feel the cheapness of the hose but thought they knew what they were doing. Not quite. If the tank is at any other angle than straight ahead the hose kinks and suction declines. My suggestion is to plan to include a stronger hose in your order (and that may be what they are expecting!). Be warned.

The motor went after a few short months and now the service center can’t get parts for it. Trying to get ahold of Shop Vac is almost impossible. Don’t waste your time or money on a ShopVac.
