Replacing 35 year old shop vac
This is a nearly exact replacement for my 35 year old Craftsman shop vac that finally gave up. The only differences I could find were that the hose end is shorter on the new one and also has three (shorter) extensions for the floor nozzle verses 2 (longer) ones on the old vac.Some reviewers complained about the 20 plus foot hose being cheap and easily damaged (I can’t figure out how they damaged the hose). I have stepped on it, run over it without damage to the (old) hose. The included hose is exactly the same as the 35 year old one that I am continuing to use.I like the size of the vac as it can be mounted out of the way and doesn’t take up floor space but still convenient to use. With the long hose I can reach most areas of the garage and I don’t have to drag around a wheeled canister. When vacuuming the car outside it easily comes off the wall mount and I just add a 10′ extension cord.The suction is much better than my old vac probably because of it’s age, no complaints there. It is a little loud but that’s because it is powerful. That noise is due to the amount of air that it is pulling through it.I am pleased with this purchase.

Great Replacement
This ShopVac is a great replacement for an older model that went out. It has better suction power and I really like the 2 lengths of hose offered. The attachments are about the same which I do like to use as needed for the type of job. I also like the fact that it appears smaller than the one I originally had and easier to store. Also, the filter bags are the same type that I used from the previous model making this a big plus since I had few left.

Poor attachments design
Great size and performance–super suction. I purchased this for the extra long hoses but, the dual hoses don’t connect with each other? Attachment holder is super cheaply designed. Non-standard bags unique to this vacuum. (Who needs the bag anyway?) No drain for picking up water and the wall-mount might not hold the weight of the amount of water you could pick up. Suggest floor use only for picking up water. Great little garage vac, but I’ll use my old long hose with it.

This wall-mounted vac is used as a dedicated unit to clean lint from my clothes dryer in a different room from the vac location. The narrow design of the vac allows for placement in a tight location in my garage.

Bought to replace old Shop Vac. Like the larger size and it has vacuum bags. It has a lot of suction power. Comes with wand extenders and a brush. It has a long hose (18â) and a short hose.
