Better than others, but very short power cord
I purchased this Shop-Vac to replace my old one, which died after, probably, 15 years. Before I ordered this one, I tried two other models from Stanley and returned them on the same day. One came with the outside damaged, and the other one was very noise (likely the first one was too)! This Sop-Vac is the perfect size for house cleaning, car vacuuming etc. It is not the same quality of my old one, but it is good. The only issue I have is the length of the power cord, 6 feet only. They say 13 feet cleaning range (6 feet power cord plus 7 from the hose), but that does not work well, you do need need an extension to take fully advantage of the wheels.

This thing sucks!
I am a pet sitter. I actually vacuum my house with this thing. It works better than ANY vacuum on the market made for home use. I guarantee it because I have tried them all. I feel so strongly about it that I wrote a letter to Shop Vac begging them to at least design a wand that would be gentler to interior floors. If you need the vacuum for more heavy duty use, no issues. This vacuum sucks! Literally!

Disappointing update
Pros: Maneuverability; old one didn’t have wheels, this one does – great plus. Strong suction, but depends on what you’re after – chunks of mulch, or wads of cat hair clog.Cons: electric cord – shorter than the old one, which was already too short; you’ll need an extension; shortened hose – less than half the length of the old one; confusing instructions re what filters to use when;for all the accessories, no brush.
