Great not to need a cord
When I use a shop vac, I tend to be outside. Not only do I hate unwinding the long extension cord I need to use, but I hate managing it to keep it from getting snagged. When I saw this featured not just one, but two batteries I got more than a little excited. And it works! Suction is great, battery life is pretty good and the overall product feels very solid and reliable.Unfortunately, my first one died on it’s second use. I flipped the switch, it started briefly and then it just went off – never to turn on again. I exchanged it and so far the replacement has worked well. But I’m fairly concerned about longevity and hoping it was just a fluke. This runs on two batteries and thankfully, the included charger has 2 slots so you can charge them both at the same time. They also include a bag for catching debris and pretty much every attachment you could use. The standard hose has extensions and popping them on and off is simple. The wheels make it a cinch to pull around and are large enough that they don’t get hung up on uneven ground or small rocks.

Incredibly handy, well made, but lacking in power for some applications
I got this because I always seem to need 500 feet of extension cord every time I need a shop vac, or I only have one cord handy and I need to switch back and forth from power tool to vaccum to clean up the mess the power tool made. So I ordered this in hopes of simplifying my process of working clean.Overall the vacuum is very well made, the attachments are well made and solid, the filter options are great, the overall look and feel of the tool is great. It comes with two batteries, and one charger. It picks up wood chips from my planer, and sawdust very effectively, and for the very short intervals needed to do that task, it really should last quite a while on one charge. Like any good lithium battery tool, you should be in the habit of keeping the system charged up for the next use. When it came time to try to use this for a slightly tougher task, this vacuum struggled a bit where my corded ones had no issue. Sucking up large clods of heavy dirt and metal objects like screws and bolts. Also it wasnt that great at getting sand out of auto floor mats without vibrating the mat to get the sand suspended out of the pile.Overall I give it a 4 out of 5, with the only detractor being overall brute power is lacking, and a good shop vac is a powerful shop vac.

Not The Usual Quality Shop-Vac
I want to love this shop-vac, but it just doesn’t perform like the ones I have had in the past. I wanted this specific battery-operated model because I don’t have anywhere to plug in a vacuum in my basement but needed to tackle a pretty big cleaning job. Shop-Vacs have always been my go-to for larger messes that the regular household vacuums struggle to pick up because they are always reliable and powerful. I unfortunately can’t say that about this model. My reasons why are below.I read through the instruction manual and set my shop-vac up according to instructions. The plastic pieces that attach to wrap the hose around are flimsy and one broke off the first time I set the hose on it. The attachment rack is also flimsy and doesn’t hold the attachments well. They fall off the rack at the slightest movement sometimes and it can be frustrating, especially since the vacuum moves around a lot during heavy use.I charged both batteries completely and started my task in the basement. I started to vacuum dust off of some wooden shelves which should be a pretty easy task for a vacuum like this. You can see in the video that it did work pretty well. That video was taken on a full battery charge. BUT 12 minutes later exactly the first battery died. WOW that was FAST. I thought maybe it was a fluke and I hadn’t actually charged it fully so I put it back on the charger. The second battery died after an additional 15 minutes!!! I got less than 30 minutes of LIGHT use, not heavy use, out of it before both batteries were dead. I let the batteries charge completely again and had the same results the second time around. I would not be happy if this was a larger mess, like water or something because the vacuum is not effective at finishing what it started. The vacuum is very powerful on a full charge, but after about 5 minutes of use, or halfway through the battery life, there is a noticeable loss of suction. I also noticed the big red power button moves on and off easily and can even turn off on its own with enough wiggling of the lid. With the array of inconveniences this shop-vac offers, it has taken me 4 days to vacuum dust and cobwebs off of 8 shelves in my basement due to having to stop to charge the batteries so frequently. I can’t stand this to be honest. It is more complicated than If I would have just used a vacuum with an extension cord.
