Written right after vacuuming
SHARK hits it out of the park again. What a great vacuum. Its a little guy, but I am SO PLEASED with the performance! Let me say 2 words that will help SHARK sell even more of these DRYWALL DUST. Yes, I’ve said it. DRYWALL DUST. Nice and clean! TY SHARK. But, wait, there’s more. They figured out a way to make the dust container even more sanitary and easier to clean. I have a SHARK navigator ( that I love as well) but when I clean the dust cup in my Navigator it’s kind of messy. Plus, the navigator has a sponge filter that I clean often as well. Not with the ROCKET! It has a small paper filter and a dust cup that emptied easily (and fully) into my trash can. Shark does a kind of swirl motion with the dirt, maybe that helps. Additionally, Oh boy, did it pick up a lot ! I am extremely pleased with the performance, ease of use, pricing and delivery on this vacuum. My old, clunky Hoover (that still does a great job) is going to a lucky family who will find it at Goodwill!! TY SHARK

I LOVE IT! Versatile, powerful, lightweight.
I just bought this for a vacation home and wanted something heavy-duty, versatile, and lightweight that can handle lots of cleaning and not beat up my hardwood floors. This unit did not disappoint! We spent a solid week cleaning a very dirty cabin and this vacuum was our MVP. The house is 3 floors so there were lots of stairs and I love that you can detach the “stick” from the base, or even turn it into a handvac by detaching the handheld part from the stick. (It also includes narrow arm and brush attachments, both of which came in handy.) It is lightweight enough to maneuver on steps and reach up to corners without worrying about clobbering yourself in the process. I love the lights that shine wherever you are vacuuming. It helps you not suck up anything you couldn’t see otherwise, it helps you see where there is still some dirt or cobwebs you might have missed, and it’s just gratifying to see the dirt as you push forward and see it disappear by the time you pull backward. Two drawbacks:1) It doesn’t stand upright on its own2) There is no place on the vacuum to store the attachments when they are not in useI almost didn’t buy it because of #1, and now I realize what a mistake that could have been. It is a bummer, but everything else is so worth it that I don’t even mind. And #2 is only relevant when you’re doing deep cleans and switching between the attachments often. On a day-to-day basis, that’s practically irrelevant.Bottom line: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great value.
I purchased this vacuum for the first floor of my house which has tile floors, carpet and rugs. We have two dogs and two kids and I need something that can quickly tackle all these floor types easily. Also, I don’t have a suitable space to plug in a cordless vacuum and unlimited run time is a very helpful.ProsEasy to use. It’s lightweight (as compared to my Kirby) and easy to quickly pull from the back of the closet and get to work. The onboard tools are easy to use and it pulls a shocking amount of dirt and hair from my floors and it makes vacuuming the stairs so easy. Also, the brush seems to fluff my carpet very well making the high traffic areas less noticable.ConsIt’s too top heavy to stand alone. I have to set it down on the floor if I need to leave it. The powered brush head doesn’t have as much control as I would like. My MIL has a Dyson and the steering is much better. The Shark feels a bit “loose” when vacuuming my tile, and pulls to the left slightly when vacuuming my thick pile area rug.It does lose suction when the bin is full and I have to empty it at least 1-2 times in one use. I can’t really complain though because if it pulling up that much stuff then it’s doing it’s jobOverall I would definitely buy this again. I’m very happy with the price, convenience, the amount of dirt it picks up and the way my floors look when I’m done.

Best Vacuum I’ve Ever Owned!
I don’t usually leave reviews but this vacuum is by far the best vacuum I’ve ever owned! I love how I can switch from hardwood to carpet so easily. I love the suction! It’s just my husband and I and a small non-shedding dog but you wouldn’t believe how much debris it picks up! I have tried many vacuums over the past 50 years and by far this is the best bang for my buck! Like other comments, I do agree the top is heavy but I have arthritis and I feel the weight more than others. I wouldn’t change the construction of the motor because obviously it’s doing a great job. The only complaint I have, which is minor, is the cord wrap handles are very far apart which means I have to lay the vacuum over the counter to reach them easily. It’s really no big deal, just a little inconvenient and I would suggest in the future the manufacturer could locate them closer together. Other than that, if you are thinking of purchasing this vacuum, do it now!

Finally! My go to vacuum.
There is only one annoying feature about this vacuum, that it will not stand upright. Otherwise I canât say anything against it. Itâs so super east to change from regular vacuum to a long wand to snatch a spider web or to a short hand vac. Cleaning up is a breeze however I check all the filters every use and find I have to wash the sponge filter every time. The canister just dumps into the trash and then I rinse it out. No bags, no vacuum smell and it cleans better than a big machine. I thought I would never find a vacuum that didnât end up with hair wrapped around the roller but this thing is king! Makes my life so much easier and takes up less storage space than any other vacuuming have tried. Wish I had bought this long ago.

Increased suction results if you remove the fine dust filters from the motor module. I empty the dust cup with my shop vac and empty that every few months. For âtop heavyâ complaints, select a few places in each room to rest the Shark vertically. Or put it on the floor and pick up. No big deal.

The suction was so terrible that it did not suck the debris into the large part of the debris catcher. Now when I make a turn the vacumn cuts off. I’m so disappointed. I had another model of Shark and it was so good, boy I’m so disappointed in this model. Maybe I got a dud. Purchased this in Oct 2020, not even a year old. I’m afraid I will now search elsewhere.
