Purchased on a black Friday deal and have no regrets. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and this has been amazing at helping me to keep up with the fur trails in the house. We have hardwood and tile throughout with a couple of area rugs. I previously had an older model Shark that just bounced around everything. It did ok, but missed a lot. I didn’t realize how much it missed until I started using the new one. Set up and operation is fairly easy. There is a little bit of a learning curve with the app set up and marking your rooms, but once I figured out I could zoom in, that helped. I can’t believe how much more surface area this robot picks up compared to the old model. The robot vacuums around the perimeter and then vacuums like it’s completing a strip and grid search in your room. It will empty itself if it gets full and will even re-charge and re-start if it needs a little robot nap. The self-emptying feature is pretty cool, so you don’t have to empty each day. I especially enjoy the ability to spot clean an area or only certain rooms. You don’t realize how convenient until you use it! We have had to clean the roller out about once a week for some wrapped up hair, but that is to be expected and is very easy to open the flap and take out the hair. Don’t forget to check your filters as well, as it’s easy to forget with the self-emptying function (out of sight/out of mind). Overall, worth the price for the extra help around the house. It is definitely earning its keep.

Good Robot Vac
My wife wanted one of these vacs for Mother’s Day for our bedroom. Although animals are not permitted in our room our cats are homing missile for my pillow which is not a good thing for a person is mild cat allergies. I still got the unit rated for pet hair in case we would run it elsewhere in the house. The beater bar does not stay as clean as I would expect but it is easy enough to clean. Overall, it does a good job has tendency to get itself hung up on recliners with swivel bases. Overall, I would recommend this product.The one complaint I have the App based wifi connection process is terrible. More specifically the connection process to wifi used internally to the Shark. Once connected the app is ok. Not to go to techno nerd here but in simple terms. The connection sequence the Shark uses is far too slow, clumsy, and timeouts too quickly. I tried for almost 90 minutes to connect this device to my wifi per the instructions despite trying numerous times and variations of interpretations of the instructions the connection would start and right at the end it would fail. I am technically advanced I checked my wifi logs the Shark would timeout right before a network address was assigned.I called Shark support they would have been helpful to a non-technical person as 1st level had me try what I had already done and then said 2nd level would call within 24 hours. No call from 2nd level. I decided to try one more thing to make the connection before returning the product. I pre-assigned a network address to the Shark which cut down on the negotiating time and allowed for a successful connection.I am not going to say everyone will experience this problem but I can tell you my network gear is all less than a year old and it took high level technical knowledge to get a successful connection.

I have three levels to my home. Two with iRobot and one with this shark. The shark far outperforms the iRobot. The app to use is also far better.

Unable to register for warranty in Uk no plug adapter think it should be provided for the money you pay also to send the parcel back Iâve got to pay another Â£140 this is a disgrace that with the label the site has provided

Nous avons dÃ©cidÃ© de le retournÃ©.Jâai Ã©tÃ© voir sur internet le meilleur Robot. Les commentaires Ã©taient super bon pour celui-ci. Jâai commandÃ© la machine sur amazon, 3 jours plus tard, elle est arrivÃ© a la maison. 2 minutes plus tard, elle Ã©tait connectÃ© a lâapplication.Je lâai programmÃ© pour quâelle passe au 2 jours. Deux chats donc beaucoup de poils. Maintenant, rien du tout !!! Je capote!!! Elle est parfaite!!!

I contacted the company with a question about the shipping of the vacuum and they responded to me very quickly, within an hour. They answered my question and resolved my issue quickly and easily! Great company! I had no issues at all with the vacuum itself.

Reliable worker
We picked up most objects we’d move around the house, told the robot to map the house, and profit every time it runs.This thing reliably navigates our house and most obstacles every day. We have carpet and tile, and it seems to do fine vacuuming both even though we have it set to normal vacuum power.Speaking of power, it seems much quieter and more effective than it’s (more expensive) competitors of its generation. Again, we use normal vacuum power, not max, because it is quieter and more effective than our experiences with Roborock S5, iRobot Roomba with the double rollers and camera, and others.We really like the thing. It picks up plenty of dust, dirt, fur and hair every day. The self-empty feature is so helpful for any floor larger than a couple decent sized rooms.I’m quite impressed with it’s navigation. When I pick it up to move it out of my office before a meeting, I press the clean button and close the door, and it seems to determine it’s location in the house within a few seconds.We tried many more expensive robots and found them lacking for what we want–reliable, no cameras, easy to maintain. This little thing does the job and does it well. Impressive machine.
