Switching products
This shark 2-in-1 was purchase thru Amazon, it was listed as new.I purchased the complete unit with dust bin unit, as of this month 8/11/2024 the robot performance for suction diminished and didn’t work as stated.I reached out to shark customer service and provided all necessary information thru video, after going through the troubleshooting the informed that unit was a refurbished robot.After talking with a customer service tech we went thru the process, and he confirmed that the robot has to be replaced, the tech contact Amazon supervisor and she did apologize about the issue and stated that a replacement will be sent.As of this date no confirmation as replacement status.My other shark robot works very well and it’s 4 years old.Why does this unit has poor quality.Please send me replacement so that I can send back your defective robot.Darrell Jackson

Easy to set up and use! It works amazingly and has made my life easier! It is a great quality, and picks up everything in its path. It is pretty quiet when operating. Great quality, and best value for your money! Cleans Amazing!!

This thing is trash!
It CONSTANTLY says the brush roller is stuck… i clean it completely then the next time, it runs maybe 5 minutes and it says it again. its so frustrating!! it also does NOT clean against the wall or corners well at all like advertised. i had an old Shark that i lost in a house fire that was amazing… i miss that one!

I do not use the mop
I love this machine. I live in a very dusty environment with one large long-haired dog. My work requires that I am away from the house (about 1200 sq ‘) for a week at a time. Whenever I would return, the 1st thing I would notice is all the dog hair under the kitchen table, grit on the floor and on my socks and feet. It was overwhelming and I would put off mopping until I addressed the stuff floating around on the floor. Once I started running the Matrix that all my cleaning anxiety went away. It was easy to download and use the app. I found the mapping fairly accurate and easy to select just a room or schedule running while the dog and I are out. It still bugs him but it’s worth the dog anxiety to keep his fluff picked up. I have not used the mop and may not since it’s even enough now to run the robot vacuum and then do a quick mop. This robot runs on luxury vinyl and carpet. It also get onto corners and does not bump into my furniture. I have watched it run and it does as good a job, if not better as I could with a broom on the vinyl. Overall, I am very pleased with the machine and would recommend it if you have an open living floor plan and few obstacles. It did get stuck a couple of times tryng to get behind the couch but typically it runs for about 90 minutes, empties itself and return to the dock with no issues. I did watch for a good price on a refurbshed model during the holidays. Absolutely no regrets in spending the bucks on this one.

Love this vacuum/ mop!
I love that you can either vacuum or mop. The vacuum empties itself!!! There’s an option to give it directions online but I don’t do that. I just let her (you don’t think it would be a guy, do you) wander around until she gets tired and docks. I bought a refurbished one because I wasn’t sure if I’d like her but I do. If she goes kerplunk, I’ll definitely buy a new one!

Sucks cuz it doesn’t
I can’t believe I paid to upgrade my roborock (so I could have the auto emptying feature. I figured shark would be competent. Boy was I wrong!I only have one dog, a German Shepherd, and it won’t even pick up the hair from him. It’s like it doesn’t have enough power to empty everything into the base so hair gets stuck in the exit port and then I get an error message every time and have to go pull it apart and clean everything out by hand. And the hair gets lodged in every part exposed to air flow. And then the vacuum doesn’t even pick up the hair off the hard floor very well…. Forget the carpet.It also goes in random patterns and I don’t know if it’s doing the whole floor. My robo Rock used to do the perimeter then go back and forth until the whole floor was covered. And it would show me the history, with every path tracked so I knew exactly where it went. The shark only has shaded areas showing what rooms were done!!RoboRock mapping was much more versatile. I could map out any part of the house and set a cleaning schedule for it. I could schedule any room or combination of rooms and any day and time. I could draw areas and merge them to create whatever shape I needed.With the shark, if you want to set a schedule for something, you get just one option, ONE time per day.I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!! I need to go find my paperwork and, if I’m still within the return window, it’s going back!! (I probably could have done it in the time it took to write this)
