Amazing and worth every penny
Extremely hassle free and efficient compared to first generation Eufy. On first start, this robot maps every millimeter of your home with LIDAR lasers. This allows it to NEVER gets stuck. It automatically returns to dock when it’s full.Cons: The suction on the dock is as a loud as a regular vacuum when the bot empties its bin but only lasts 5 seconds.Overall, this is a truly hassle free robot vacuum that WORKS just like the vacuum bots from The Fifth Element.

Works like a charmâ¦so far
So far, so good. Iâm nervous about the firmware faulting, like previous models. So Iâm not too sure about the longevity. If it lasts about 2 years I consider a worthy investment. Hereâs why:My household consists of a pug (prolific shedder), 3 kids, and 2 cats.1. Performance is excellent. So far itâs been reliable and cleans extremely well. I tested it thoroughly day one and two. I ran it 4 times back to back and double checked the condition of the floor. I ran it across my area rug, which has ridges, and found that it cleaned so well, that when I went over the rug with my bagless vacuum, there was 0 debris picked up.2. Autonomy. Iâve set it to run 4 times a week. Typically, with my old robo vac, this would be impossible as I would have to ensure the floor would be picked up and free of toys, back packs, laundry, etc. This guy avoids all of that and cleans where it can.3. Maintenance is extremely low. Iâll probably only have to check its brush roll and empty the baseâs bin once a month.Now what I donât like:The mapping is faulty. If you remove an object from the environment, after the are is mapped, it will still act like that object is there and avoid it. I removed the dog bed from the living room to get it to vacuum that small space and it avoided it as if it was still there.Youâre not able to customize the suction on the schedule. You can customize the suction, make it more powerful, for spot vacuum, but not when you schedule it.Thatâs really it. Iâm happy with payingmore for this guy.

This little but mighty bot gets the job done!
I love the robot vacuum. It is taller than my old Eufy so it doesnât get stuck under our furniture. I love that this one has mapping and self emptying. This mighty little bot does a great job cleaning our floors. She (yes she) has no issues vacuuming. I gave 5 stars because she is the best robot vacuum I have ever had. Now the consâ¦the app is convenient and works fairly well, with two exceptions. 1st I have owned her for about a month and she has lost connectivity to our Wi-Fi twice. Both times we had to remove the device and re-enter everything. 2nd issue, I believe a spam hacker has accessed the app. On three separate occasions a sign-in pop up screen shows up on the app. Logging in using our information never works and I believe that this spam is trying to collect passwords. I had to reset our password twice just to make sure. When this spam pops up there is no accessing the app and I cannot use my robot. This is very frustrating. Once the spam message disappeared on its own and the other two times. I had to either re-setup our robot or delete the app and then redownload the app again. Also, important to note, it appears that when it says âalready have an account? Log inâ at the bottom of the screen, that you are on the right sign-in screen. If the bottom says âdonât have an account? sign upâ that screen log-in will not work. Please Shark find a way to stop this frustrating issue. The vacuum workâs amazing. The app not so much. 5 stars for robot 3 stars for app. The first photo shows the screen that wonât work and the second shows the screen that does work, at least after deleting app and downloading again.

Not perfect but great!
Iâve owned several vacuum robots over the past two decades – one Roomba and three Eufys. Iâve seen the evolution of tech from random bounces to Wi-Fi linked apps and now Iâve purchased this self-emptying unit that maps my house.Iâve got two Eufys that work perfectly well – one upstairs, one downstairs – but they have one flaw: between two long-haired humans and two dogs, the hair wrap is insane. Like, Iâve got to clean the beater brushes every 2-3 runs at most (as the brushes age, it has to be done almost every run). Also, the dust bins have almost no room to spare when itâs finished, even if run daily – apparently my house is filthy. Ew.I purchased a Shark upright with no-wrap tech in 2021 and it has rarely had anything wrapped, and never more than a few strands. I finally gave in and purchased the robot version with fingers crossed the specialized beater brush works as well as it does on the upright.So far Iâve run it three times and hereâs my impression:- app setup wasnât 100% intuitive and I had a bit of trouble connecting it to my Wi-Fi but it wasnât too difficult overall.- the âno wrapâ is equal to the upright version. I have pulled one exceptionally long string out. Itâs otherwise pristine! This right here is enough for me to save to purchase a second, to replace my other Eufy. Skipping cleaning hair wrap is a dream.- it is not shy about figuring out what furniture it can fit under and it hasnât gotten stuck yet, even where my other bots have regularly gotten hung up. I have all of my cords out of the floor so I canât speak to itâs intelligence there, but it climbs over furniture support bars with about as much grace as a robot can muster.- the self-empty feature is super convenient and the robot has emptied itself mid-run each time Iâve run it (about 600sqft, mostly carpet). Iâm not worried about it losing suction or overfilling/erroring out.- the self-empty function didnât quite fully empty the dirt cup on the robot when I checked but it was pretty close. I will keep an eye on this to see if it progresses to be worse (or if it improves!).- the dust cup on the dock makes it super easy to view debris level that has been emptied. I seriously doubt it will be anywhere close to the 45 days advertised to fill (in fact, I will be surprised if it makes it more than 15 runs).- the self-empty function is super loud and the robot itself is louder than I expected. Neither are going to wake your neighbors but if youâre easily startled or a light sleeper, I would be mindful about when you choose to run it. Iâm used to running robots at night after we go to bed but this one is definitely daytime only.- the boundary strips work well- no issues with the staircase- the mapping function seems competent but itâs not something I really care for. The integrated camera for mapping isnât something I am super comfortable with.Overall, this is pricey but if it continues to function as it has so far, I will be very pleased with my investment. I did purchase the Asurion insurance in case this has issues down the line since it seems like there are a lot of parts that could break and render it useless.

It is the best thing I bought in years. Itâs quieter.than I expected and works as it should. The only negative thing is that I wish I had bought it years ago. I have 4 dogs and it gets the hairs and dirt no problem. My house is dog hair free with this on every day. Love it.

Haven’t had for very long so don’t know how long it will last… I have a back injury thanks to a drunk driver and vacuuming hurts. Got this so that my floors get vacuumed and I feel no pain. I have hardwood floors and it keeps things clean. Sometimes it misses stuff in a corner or too close to the wall but I’m loving it. It does seem to have an issue with getting plugged when it is dumping in it’s dock but it’s not a big deal to pull out the larger pieces causing the issue. I live on a farm and have a wood cook stove and it’s keeping up with the dust/mess that involves. I can’t get the remote part to work but think that’s a MY PHONE issue and not it’s problem. I recommend it.
