Great suction, a little bulky
First, the suction is great. Has a suction adjustment and we had to turn it down. Used it on a clean area run and it pulled out dust and dirt – which is great. It is a little bulky and not super easy to maneuver. The cord length is great, but I miss not having a retractable cord. I gave it four stars. I would say five for how powerful it is, but three for how bulky it is. It is a fair price for as highly as it is rated on C onsumer R eports.

Heavy, but does it vacuum!
We especially bought this because we wanted to use it on our16 stairs. It sort of works, as good as any other, butit’s kinda heavy, even for an old guy. On wooded floors, it doesa good enough job, but on carpet, it excels. It took up allmy golden retrievers hair, although I have to clean the brush often.That’s part of having a dog, I guess.I hope it lasts, because I really like it.

Anything but good condition
I bought this used. The description said good condition so I was thinking like a demo unit or something. This thing was beat to hell, looks like some throw it down a flight of stairs. There is not one square inch of this thing that isn’t scratched, it is anything but in good condition. Total misrepresentation by the seller. Not only that when we turned it on it was making a loud noise, it is obviously broken. Very disappointing.

LOVE this vacuum
This vacuum is amazing. The suction is so strong and it is so easy to clean. It is incredibly versatile with the suction adjustment and being able to detach each part. Great price for what you get.

Better than expected
Never thought a vacuum with headlights was nessessary, I was wrong. Those little lights help show the dirt and hair that need to get picked up, very helpful. The vacuum is super modular, can be easily reconfigured for all that cleaning tasks. Fairly light weight, but feels durable. The suction works amazingly, and it’s super easy to empty and clean. Im impressed, makes vacuuming a bit fun too, with how easily it turns. Can even go basically flat to get under the bed and rolling carts.

Great and lightweight!
So great. We replaced our broken and very expensive Dyson with this vacuum and I wonât ever go back. Itâs so much easier to use, is super light weight, can be converted to be a canister-style vacuum, swivels easily and vacuums flat, has lights on the front to see in dark corners, has fantastic suction, and is easy to empty and clean out. My only issue is that hair gets very easily tangled in the rotating brush.

This may be my last vacuum
I don’t write many reviews, but because I read them faithfully and make decisions based on them, decided some products deserve one. I bought this Shark over a year ago, so feel as though I’ve given it a good workout. I have owned everything from Sears to Electrolux to Hoover and none of them are as good as this one. It’s lightweight, powerful and easy to use. It’s super convenient to remove the attachments, everything snaps back in place with ease and the lift-off compartment slips off with one push of a button and makes vacuuming under the furniture a breeze. The debris container is easy to remove, too, and I like being able to keep it, along with the filters, clean. But, the best part is that it sucks up dust and dirt better than any vacuum we’ve owned. It works great on edges and floors as well as it does carpeting, using the power head feature. This is the second Shark we’ve owned. The other is at our other home. It’s a good one, too, but this newer version is an improvement. The only concern I have is the on-and-off switch which feels like it may be getting lose. I highly recommend this model.
