Shark’s best-selling vacuum of all time has evolved. Powerful suction on floors and deep carpet cleaning combine with an amazing above-floor experience—just detach the Lift-Away pod with an easy foot pedal to take on the whole home. Anti-Allergen Complete Seal locks in pollutants and dust and expels cleaner air into your home. Effortlessly maneuver with swivel steering and illuminate the mess with LED headlights.
Lift-Away the detachable pod with the easy-to-use pod-release pedal to clean stairs, furniture, and everywhere in your home.
Deep cleaning on carpets, strong suction on hard floors, and powerful pet hair pickup.
No vacuum emits cleaner air, capturing 99.99% of dust and allergens with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology. (Based on ASTM F1977 of particles .3 microns or larger)
Lighter than Shark’s best-selling Lift-Away, with more suction for versatile whole-home cleaning. (Weight and suction vs. NV351, suction measured at the hose)
Advanced Swivel Steering lets you easily maneuver your vacuum in and out of tight spaces, in corners, around furniture, and more.

My Holy Grail
My quest for the perfect vacuum has finally reached its end. My standards are insanely high, as Iâm a little OCD, and I expect a lot from a vacuum. This vacuum has GREAT suction, a narrow head (which I really like because it can get into the corners without having to move all of the furniture all the time), excellent maneuverability, is super lightweight, and does stairways better and more easily than any vacuum Iâve ever had. I have a lot of stairs in my condo, so this was important. Itâs also actually the lightest Shark that Iâve encountered (and I tested 8) so I was shocked at how thorough its cleaning was. Vacuuming my home has never felt so effortless. It has the lift away feature, which basically turns it into a canister vacuum that you can carry around if desired. Its design is pretty and sleek. Dumb to mention that maybe, but aesthetics matter to me. Thereâs no reason an appliance canât be pretty and also high functioning. Also, I test drove it first, before two other contenders, and the other two vacuums (including a Dyson), picked up hardly anything on their subsequent runs, which means that it didnât miss much.A few caveats: This is perfect for my home, but maybe not for everyoneâs. The vacuumâs lighter weight and maneuverability mean that it can be more difficult to control on hard floors. Also, Shark needs to get a clue and lengthen the cords on their vacuums. Everyone complains about them being too short, and this one was, sadly, no exception. 5-10 more feet wouldâve made it a better vacuum. This was a learning experience. Thereâs no such thing as a perfect vacuum, just the perfect vacuum for your home.I hope you enjoyed reading this novel. Iâm dedicating it to my vacuum. ð

Easy to use, works well
My elderly parents needed a new vacuum. Wanted to get them something decent that had HEPA filtration, easy to use, lightweight and not terribly expensive. This fit the bill as an option to get a vacuum at a decent price without having to step down to a lower quality item. I know refurbished can be a bit daunting as you do not always know what you are getting. However, this one turned out to be a win. The only issue we had was when turning it on, there was a slight fragrance. I have family members who are odor sensitive. I am not exactly sure what the fragrance was, but it was a familiar scent I’ve smelled in department stores before. The sponge filter looked a bit dirty, like the vacuum was used a couple of times/tested with it in. So I went ahead and ordered new filters and just swapped them out, and the smell dissipated. After testing it out at home, brought to my parents house and showed them how it works. It has more features than they’ll probably need, or even remember. For a vacuum, they thought it looked sharp. But it moves easily, and is picking up dirt off the floor way better than their old vacuum. Everyone is happy. Unless they’re not, and just not telling me…

Great vacuum. Going strong, 5 years later.
I love this vacuum. Itâs the best shark Iâve ever had. I was going to write a long comparison review of all the Sharks Iâve had, but donât have the energy. This is a great vacuum though. Only problem is the same with all the lift away; the hoses are weak and start tearing at the connection to the body.

Best vacuum I’ve ever had
Having a vacuum that can stand up to my children’s messes (including legos) without breaking is a huge thing for me.Being able to carry only part of the vacuum up to vacuum my stairs was huge too. its so light even when its not lifted off. the suction on this baby is amazing too! half the time the head gets everything in corners and i rarely even have to use the hose! Its easy to clean because everything comes apart so easily! It was upsetting to find that this vacuum wasn’t at walmart anymore to buy the day mine broke because of water damage. Went on amazon and found this and was skeptical on refurbished items but so far it’s been great and was such a relief that i didnt have to bank on buying a vacuum that i wouldnt like!

This is a REFURBISHED vacuum
I don’t think this listing makes it clear enough that you’re buying a $100+ *refurbished* vacuum. The moment I turned it on it smelt like it was burning. I tried to use it for a few minutes more, for the scent to fill up my 2,000+sq ft home, and the suction power started dulling then coming on strong, then dulling again, over and over very quickly. It was on for maybe 3 minutes tops and it was already malfunctioning. To be expected from a refurbished item. Next time I’ll have to keep a better eye out for the “(renewed)” at the end of the title.

8/10
Lightweight easy to use easy to clean but I don’t like that you can’t use it on all carpet types – I have a low pile semi shag rug that itjust sucks up and can’t adjust the roller and it doesn’t even work if you switch it to hardwood.

Easy to Use
Finally after trying 3 different vacuums, this Shark Lift away is the one. Although the description stated it had lights, it does not. My old Shark is lit, but it croaked after 10 years. This model is light enough for me to use at age 75 with arthritic hands, etc. It practically vacuums on its own even though it is technically not “self propelled”. It sure feels like it though. It has good suction and the collection bin is simple to use. Cord length is adequate. I haven’t used the lift off option yet, but it is simple to do. Great machine especially for its refurbished price.

Possibly the best
Now own two of these. Works great. Good set up for easy use. Comes apart and goes back together simply. Light weight. Maneuverability is excellent. This can’t be beat for the price.
