Wow!
Let me start by saying that I was hesitant to purchase this Amazon renewed Shark vacuum because I’ve never purchased anything “Amazon renewed” before and there was only one review for this vacuum at the time of my purchase. From my research, it looked like this model is one of the newer Shark corded stick vacs, so I told myself that this might be the reason for so few reviews and ratings, and decided to give it a try. Note that I was seeking to replace an embarrassingly old Kenmore bagged canister rolling type vacuum that, although it stills technically works, can only be used with the small rectangular dusting brush attachment, which just wasn’t cutting it for large areas anymore, and being about 20 years old, is by no means the pinacle of modern suction technology. Excited to experience first hand the progress made in vacuum technology over the last 20 years, I opened and inspected this Shark vacuum shortly after receiving it and was pleased to find that it looks like it’s brand new. Not only did it have all its pieces and accessories, but there were no signs of cosmetic wear or imperfections on the vacuum itself or its accessories at all. I anxiously assembled the vacuum in less than 5 minutes and excitedly started vacuuming to put this renewed machine to the test. After using the vacuum on both carpet and hardwood floors, I can confirm that this vacuum is lightweight, super easy to maneuver, and has serious suction power. How much suction power, you ask? Well, after having just vacuumed with my old vacuum 2 days ago, a quick 5 min vacuum of my living room with this Shark model completely and shockingly filled the entire back section of the dust bin with fluff, hair, dust, and debris. And as if the sheer volume of debris that this Shark collected from a supposedly clean floor wasn’t impressive enough, as I continued to vacuum I found that it’s maneuverability and agility are game changers for my vacuuming experience. The vacuum propells itself forward, and has 2 rollers, which makes vacuuming easy, effortless, and thorough. The design of the rollers is unique, and left the fibers of my carpets looking fluffed and like new after vacuuming. The cord is long, allowing fewer interruptions for maxed out cord length and outlet swaps while vacuuming. The canister, while relatively small compared to those of bag style vacuums, holds a surprising amount of debris and, with it’s clear plastic, is both very easy and extremely satisfying to empty. Needless to say, my 20 year old Kenmore has been retired and I’m excited to continue to vacuum using this amazing vacuum.

A GREAT VACUUM!
This is a great vacuum! It has great suction. I have 2 Saint Bernards and it gets up all the fuzzy hair. It propels itself. I have tile floors with area rugs and it does a great job on both. Lightweight and easy to empty. It has a nice long cord. And the odor eliminator was a pleasant surprise! I know you might be concerned about it being refurbished, but don’t. It’s a great deal for the price!

I’m a senior & it’s perfect for me
This is the best purchase I’ve made in awhile. The Vac is lightweight & the bin is easy to empty & clean. It picks up great on the carpet in my bedrooms as well as my hardwood floors & it’s very easy to switch to a hand vac.The cord is long enough to stretch through my 900 sq ft apartment. I wanted a corded vacuum so I don’t have to worry about the battery life since I’m a senior & can’t clean fast. Very easy to maneuver & I can vacuum under my bed easily. The odor neutralizer could be better & you do need to remember to lean it against something when not in use so it doesn’t tip over, but the pros far outweigh the cons.I bought it refurbished so I hope it lasts a long time. I’d definitely repurchase.

Junk
Worked great for a month or two and now it shuts off by itself. It spits out debris that it’s vacuuming from somewhere. I can’t figure out where and the power level surges when it does turn on most of the time it doesn’tShark products have went down in quality

Great vacuum
Was skeptical about it being refurbished but I love the vacuum! In new condition and the suction and convenience of use is awesome! So easy to store and come with two attachments. The cup is easy to empty and even though it doesnât stand on its own it takes only a second to pull the motor off and hang it on the front instead of leaning it against something. I would highly highly recommend!!

Great little vacuum
Pros: Great suction, picks up all dirt and hair, hair doesn’t get all wrapped around the bristles where you have to sit there for an hour and cut it all out, light weight.Cons: It doesn’t stand up by itself when you’re not using it. You have to either lean it up against a wall, or remove the motor (which is the top part where the dirt cup is) and “hang” it on the front. Which really isn’t that big of a deal. Also being that it is corded, it is slightly less convenient than some of their other models where it has a rechargeable battery. Overall, definitely great vacuum.
