Works surprisingly well
I liked the original Shark formula but it didn’t do well with pet stains, so I was excited to find this. This is the only pet formula that has gotten cat/dog pee out the first time without any follow-up treatment. I’ve tried a ton of enzyme cleaners, multiple pet formulas, every diy solution, and usually need to come back and clean a second time after everything dries if the mess wasn’t cleaned up within the first fifteen minutes – not always possible when you don’t see it happen. This even took the stain and smell out of a mattress after the waterproof layer failed.It has a light smell that fades quickly, very tolerable when you’re checking after cleaning to make sure there’s no lingering smell. Works great with cold water as advertised. Does well on general cleaning also, and works with hot water for non-bio stains. I’m guessing it wouldn’t work as well on bio stains if the water isn’t cold, like most enzyme cleaners. Doesn’t foam in the tank and lasts well. I do dilute it more than the machine recommends because I didn’t notice any drop in cleaning power when doing that – I use about 50% of the recommended amount and usually rinse with a tank of water after cleaning so the soap doesn’t stay in the carpet to attract dirt. Worth the money – it’s the only manufacturer recommended cleaning solution I’ve used consistently without substituting others.

Don’t usually buy the name brand carpet clean solution
I was provided a sample when I bought a new carpet cleaning machine. I bought a Shark as we have had such good luck with their vacuum cleaners. I have dogs and was really impressed at how well this unit cleaned. The big difference with the cleaning solution was the smell. The pet stains came out of the carpet and the whole house smelled great. It lasted a long time as well, both things really stood out.

Love this carpet cleaner. Great smell and exceeded my expectations for cleaning. However bottle leaked all over and the box was soaked so part of my product was wasted in transit the reason for 4 stars instead of 5!).

Love the smell….
I love the smell after I clean my carpet. Gets all the stains out from the dogs coming in and outside. My cat had an accident on the carpet cleaned it right up. You never know it can’t smell it. All you smell is the great smell of this cleaner!!!
