This diffuser is great! I have an older conair dryer in the approved shape listed above and it fits no problem. I like that the basket is so large to it covers more surface area. It looks exactly as pictured.

Large, Salon-Quality Perfect Diffuser for my Thick, Curly Hair
I finally found a salon-quality, large diffuser that does not frizz my hair!First, the size of this diffuser is amazing! It is large and makes me feel like I am under the hood at the salon. Second, the inside of the nose that fits on your hair dryer has lines of rubber grips so it does not slip at all and surely will not ever fall off. You can spin the nozzle of this diffuser so that you can change the air flow. Finally, just by feeling this diffuser, you can tell this is high quality, salon-quality. I can not wait to continue using this diffuser. I want to jump in the shower and wash my hair again right now just so I can use it! With my curls, I can get several days out of my curls before I need to shampoo them again. And with this diffuser, I feel wonderful and my curls really look great!Here’s how I used this product:1. comb hair out with leave-in conditioner2. put in your favorite product (I just discovered Pantene Pro-V controlling curl creme, yes, a drugstore find!)3. Optional: add heat protectant spray if you are going to diffuse or use hair dryer4. Roll in those foam rollers! (Keep bigger sizes for underneath and back, and smaller sizes the higher you go and very small for around your face.)5. Use a hair dryer and diffuser to speed up the drying process6. Unroll7. Diffuse again to amplify curls and dry a little more. Done! Ready to go!Also this seller has been really amazing, going out of their way for great customer service. The shipping was extremely fast, the packaging was neat and sized just right. Finally, I received an email from the seller making sure I was satisfied with my product. I was quite frustrated with my old Avanti diffuser as it was FOREVER sliding off my hair dryer. I saw Sara Anguis use a ginormous diffiuser and I went looking for a new one and decided on this one from SegBeauty. It NEVER falls off my dryer. I use it with a Babyliss dryer and the fit is perfect. Works great for my 3a/b curls. Not nearly as big as the one Sara uses, but works great for me. Also love the continuous sprayer from Seg Beauty.

This diffuser does exactly what it says on the tin. It seems robust enough and has rubber grips that hold my blow-dryer securely and safely in place. It doesn’t wobble nor get overheated. I have natural 4b hair and it has definitely made a difference with regard to maintaining the softness and definition of my curls with my ‘wash and go’ style. The instructions are not in perfect grammatical English, but they are certainly clear and more than adequate to understand how to use (and not use) the diffuser.

Works With Dyson Hair Dyer/Curler
As someone with naturally curly hair, I’m always on the lookout for products that will help enhance and define my curls. That’s why I was excited to try out the Hair Diffuser with Deep Bowl. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed!The deep bowl of the diffuser is perfect for getting my curls to clump together and form defined ringlets. It evenly distributes the heat from my blow dryer, which helps to reduce frizz and add shine to my curls. Plus, the diffuser itself is easy to attach to my blow dryer and stays securely in place.But what I was really curious about was whether this diffuser would work with my Dyson hair dryer, which has detachable pieces. Easy fix if it doesnât fit for your dryer
I was super disappointed as soon as I realized my dryer wasnât going to fit. It has a lip on the end rather than a gradual incline which prevented the diffuser from fitting over it. I came to the reviews to see if others had this issue and sure enough, awesome people gave me solutions! I took some wire cutters and cut a slit in the plastic of the diffuser so it could open wider. This allowed it to fit over my dryer nozzle without losing any airflow.I love the size of the bowl! I genuinely feel like my hair dries faster with this diffuser than the one my dryer came with. All of my curls were well-shaped in contrast to using a shallow bowl which creates odd dents in my hair.It got very hot! I assume this is because of the metal plate inside. I had to keep switching from the hot setting down to the warm because it was too hot for my scalp.The air flow was a little too much for me, creating frizz, but I think I just need to play around with the adjustment of the flow holes.

Excellent diffuser! Great body and big, voluminous curls with no frizz!
First of all, reading the customer reviews and especially looking at the pictures really helped me decide on this diffuser. I was looking to replace my John Frieda dryer/diffuser set but was nervous to purchase a diffuser and dryer only to find that they weren’t compatible. The person who posted the picture of the white Rusk W8less dryer with this diffuser sold the deal for me. That dryer has over 1000 solid reviews. While it was pricy, I was looking to purchase my first ever salon-quality dryer anyways. It doesn’t disappoint.As for this diffuser, it is substantially bigger and deeper than the one that came with my John Frieda dryer. That diffuser would just blow my curls all around (look at the holes in your diffuser, people…this plays a BIG factor). I love the fact that the Segbeauty diffuser has a rotating, adjustable feature to close up some of the holes (which are tiny to begin with). I used it last night with my new Rusk dryer on the low/warm setting and it fits so much of my hair in the bowl that the drying time was much faster. And I can feel the reduced air flow also. My curls are WAY more voluminous than with the flat/shallow/big-holed diffuser. And more formed, no frizz.I wholeheartedly suggest this diffuser. Be careful about the dryer you buy it with/for. It is a very specific sizing that is circular and smaller with no give – it does look like around the size many professional dryers are (long, narrow/pointy). It just slid right onto the Rusk and stays solid there. Great combo and my curls have never looked better.
