My previous Sebo lasted 23 years!
Sebo has been the most reliable vacuum I’ve ever owned. My last one required approximately 3 repairs over the 23 year period. I’m looking forward to this one being as dependable as my last one. Has great suction, works on all surfaces and really can’t be beat.

Sebo X4 Automatic Upright Vacuum is amazing!
This vacuum clearly functions at a superior level and operates better than all other vacuums that I have had in many years. It was easy to assemble in 45 minutes. My first use was simply awesome to clean my carpeting and hard floors. Yes it is expensive ,but in my view it is cheaper than the iPhone 15 Pro that will last only 3 years whereas the X4 is likely to be in service for 12 to 15 years! (I think it is important to keep my purchase decisions in perspective.) I have read many recent and helpful reviews (as of March 2024) and thanks to those folks who were positive influencers, I decided to “pull the trigger” and buy the X4 Boost Automatic model.

Well made
We had our last Sebo over 15 years.Well made. we were not replacing sweepers every few years,Pricey for sure.It hurts to spend that much for a sweeper, so we thought long and hard about it, but it works.Cords nice and long.Powerful and easy to use..We flet it was worth spending the money on.

Will be around with no issues for many, many years.
This is the third Sebo we have purchased. The first, which is going on 24 years old is still in use with a family member. The second stopped working about 12 years in and the third arrived this week. Its a wonderful vacuum that lies very flat and can clean under beds with no issue. Very long cord and good attachments. Bags are easy to install and keep the vac clean at all times. Optional scent addition nice. A bit on the heavy side but a great motor has some weight as a trade off. All in all a terrific investment, you get what you pay for.

Love this vacuum
Love this vacuum. I’ve had the vacuum since 2022 and have had absolutely no problems with it. My house is a mixture of carpet/tile/hardwood and there has been no problems with effectiveness on any surface. I’ve had Dysons before with dogs and cats in the house along with regular day to day dirt the carpet never truly felt clean. With the Sebo I’ve never had that feeling. There’s visibly less dirt and hair now. The fact it is also a bag vacuum and not open canaster was also a hug selling point. I’ve only have to replace the bag twice since I bought it. Also with the Dyson, using the hand held extension was always so finicky as it would not always register that the tube was pulled out. I’ve never experienced that same issue with the Sebo.The vacuum also comes with a limited warranty. Seven year motor and 5 years parts and labor.

Best vacuum Iâve ever had
I have owned many vacuums over the years (Iâm pretty old), including 2 Mieles that cost over $1,000 each but couldnât handle plush carpets or cat hair. They were also extremely expensive to repair. Iâve had this Sebo for just a couple of months, and am already very impressed by its ability to clean rugs and carpets, regardless of level of plushness. Pet hair is no problem. My rugs, floors, and carpets have never been as clean, and the Sebo adjusts automatically to rug or carpet height and handles bare floors with ease. It was very easy to assemble, too. I rarely write product recommendations, but felt this Sebo warranted my message.

Not as good as older models
I had a Sebo Automatic X for over 20 years. It worked great and I loved it. When the motor burned up, I had no doubt that I would replace it with another Automatic X. I have been using this Auto X4 for almost a year now and I am NOT as happy with it. The first one I received kicked my circuit breaker every time I used it. The Sellerâs customer service was very attentive and sent me a new unit very quickly. But the vacuum itself is not as good. This is supposed to be a HEPA system, but the cover doesnât even close. When the unit was brand new it didnât fit together like I thought it should but since both units seemed to fit the same, I figured that was just the way it was supposed to be. Now, I am to the point where I have to keep a rubber band on it to get it to close. This should not happen to an $850 vacuum after 11 months. I am not very happy with it. I use genuine SEBO filters and bags, so it canât be blamed on the filter. I guess SEBO has not maintained using high quality materials like they used to. For the price tag, the vacuum should be better quality.

Great vacuum! Works great! Easy to clean out and replace parts!
Rally long cord – check! Powerful suction – check! Great (German) build quality – check! Easy to disassemble and clean out and/or replace parts with no tools needed – check! Better filtration than most vacuums – check! Automatic adjustments of the roller head for different surfaces – check! Warns you when something is stuck and shuts the motor off so it isnât damaged – check! Only downside is that you have to replace bags which cost money and two types of filters need replacing eventually. The vacuum will tell you when with a red light. You can find comparable filters and bags for a reasonable price on Amazon. I think itâs worth it vs a bagless vacuum. This vacuum makes sure no dust gets back into the rooms with a filter before the stuff goes into the bag and an exhaust filter for the air leaving the vacuum and going back into the room. Bagless vacuums get dust back into the room when you empty them or you have to go outside to empty them. But this sebo vacuum checks all the boxes off! Plus I bought it used in good condition for a great deal and everything works great – the auto adjustment, the warning lights, the suction is super strong! Everything works like new!
