Very simple lightweight vacuum…. old school design which works great. AND it takes F&G styles bags which is a very good thing instead of those bagless machines with the small dirty cups to always clean out. The on-off switch is down on top of the cleaning head, not on the handle, but that’s fine. Also, it has no separate hose to use for nooks and crannies etc.. it’s just a straight vacuum. Height adjustment is a simple easy to turn knob… I use “1” for bare floors and super low carpet, and “4” for medium thick carpet. In the age of over-engineered, over-featured, ugly styled crap, this simple old school machine is a breath of fresh air.

This is my 2nd Sanitaire upright sweeper. It is a great vacuum, but the assembly of it is a nightmare! Directions aren’t very clear, plus the plastic parts are incredibly hard to attach. When not in use, the prong holderfor the plug will not fit the cord. I have to wrap it under the cord.

I absolutely love this vacuum. I used to have dogs and this pulled a lot of hair out of my carpet. Compared to my old vacuum, this is commercial grade, meaning the motor is directly on top of the brush. When using a vibra groomer 2, style brush, you can feel it vibrating a couple inches behind the vacuum.

This vacuum only comes with a 25 ft cord other Sanitaire products I bought are 50 ft. Also this is first Sanitaire I bought that has a filtration bag inside regular vacuum bag. It gets screwed into the base & is not compatible with the hook & latch on dump bags that we use. Doesn’t sound super powerful but will put in small account.
