My vacuum was very expensive. I was surprised to find this piece so easily broken. I was also worried that I would not be able to find a replacement part for it. Fortunately I found this one. It snapped right on and I’m back to vacuuming. I highly recommend.

Can’t say much about the part itself because this is like the third time we have had to replace the broken cord holder. But it is amazing how you can find anything on Amazon. And the part is inexpensive so I don’t mind having to replace it. Easy to install.

I have two Eureka upright commercial vacuum cleaners that were purchased 20 years ago and is stillgoing strong. With regular replacements of the belts and rollers, in addition to occasional replacementsof cord hooks, these vacs are virtually indestructible. Yeah, these parts are plastic and they do wear outafter about 10 yrs. of use but the replacement costs are very modest and reasonable.

Would’ve liked it a lot better had it I’ve been to where you could have turned it to release like the original but all in all it’s OK just inconvenient to get it off the vacuum cleaner cause you have to take it one wrap at a time instead of being able to twist it to release it
