great vacuum
This is the only vacuum we use for our 859 sq ft house and we love it (though we do have a carpet cleaner for our bedroom carpets). Our house is like 60% hard floor and 40% carpet, and this does the job on both. We also bought an extra upholstery attachment that was worth the extra investment. this is lightweight and ergonomic. It looks nice, too, so we have it charging in our front office room. It’s top-heavy, as are almost all rechargeable stick-vacs, so you need to be aware of that if you set it somewhere. I highly recommend this vacuum!

Wonderful vacuum!
I have had this for almost two years. I was hesitant to purchase , even at black Friday price… but gave it a go and absolutely love it! It did not come with an extra battery like some other brands…. I figured I could purchase one down the road if need be. No “need be” I have yet to run it out of power. It is powerful and especially in turbo mode. The pet hair tool works well and dumping the dust receptacle is super easy. If this died on the two year anniversary, I would buy another…. but I suspect it will last for years.

Light weight, powerful, and long battery life
This replaced a comparable cordless Dyson stick vacuum that I have used for more than 15 years. This Samsung is similar in design, weight, and power but it costs less than comparable Dyson models, has a longer battery life, a wider power head, and a larger dust bin. Also, the dust bin is easier to empty then the old vacuum: remove from the main vacuum unit by a push button, lift the internal filters out, and turn upside down to empty. The filters can be cleaned by washing or brushing when removed from the bin. This Samsung has been quite satisfactory for light vacuuming. It is quiet and relatively easy to maneuver around. It is turned on and off by a push button. There are lights to indicate the vacuuming power (Min, Mid, Max) along with â and + buttons to select the power level. Hold down the + button for a few seconds while at the Max level and the vacuum switches to a super âJetâ level. There is also a light to indicate a clog, the roller/beater has stopped spinning, or that the filter is installed incorrectly or missing. The design incorporates a ânotchâ along the bottom of the vacuum that catches on the edge of a flat surface and this keeps the vacuum from sliding down when I prop it against the edge of a table or the island in our kitchen. I have found this feature to be especially useful. There are no LED âheadlightsâ on the main powered head, but I canât say I would use that feature since I do not vacuum in the dark and I would want to use the battery power to extend the vacuuming time instead of powering headlights. The battery is removable and can be charged separately in the charger or while attached to the vacuum when it is hung on the wall-mounted charger. The battery has three lights on the right and left sides that indicate the charge remaining or the progress of charging (see picture). The stated maximum run time is about 1 hour at the Min power level using a non-powered head (i.e. the crevice tool) and 18 minutes at the Mid power level using the main powered turbo head. I still had one light of charge left after vacuuming for about 15 minutes mostly at the Mid power level with the turbo brush head and occasional use of the Min, Max and Jet levels. The Min level worked well for our low nap door mats and dog beds and the Max and Jet for heavily soiled carpet. This model came with a powered turbo brush head, a mini motorized brush head, and a crevice tool that can be extended in length. What is missing is an optional non-powered head with brush bristles that I found useful with my old stick vacuum. The two powered heads or the crevice tool can be attached to the vacuum without having to use the long âpipeâ. The mini motorized brush is useful for vacuuming stairs and upholstery, but the powered roller/beater is not as effective as it could be because two plastic bars across the bottom keep it from coming into contact with most surfaces (see picture). The roller/beater of both powered tools run all the time and cannot be turned off, and both can be removed for cleaning.Other than not including a non-powered head with brush bristles, my only criticism is that the mini motorized tool does not fit on the tool attachment points of the charger/wall hanger. There are two attachment points and the crevice tool fits one but neither of the powered heads or the âpipeâ will fit the other. I assume the second attachment point is for the optional head with the brush bristles. I attached the charger to a wall, hung the vacuum and attached the crevice tool, but the mini tool had to be placed on a shelf or left on the floor. So, I screwed a two prong hanger into the wall so that I could hang the min tool next to the wall mounted charger (see picture). It would have been nice if Samsung had designed the hanger/charger so that all tools could be attached and stored together.

Vs. D*son and EllGee (You Want to Know, Right?)
I have lupus with mobility issues. My husband and son have no clue how to (as my grandmother used to say) “run the sweeper.” (Actually, that’s not quite true – my son knows how and actually does it unprompted from time to time, but it’s mostly up to me).If you are pressed for time, this Samsung is what you want for shag carpets/fluffy rugs/anything with a lot of nap. The ELLGEE cordless vacs are amazing, but shag is their kryptonite. Skip the big brand. If you get one free, take it, but otherwise, thumbs down.Anyhow, my love of the right tool for the right job is no secret, and vacuums are no exception. I have gone through several kinds/brands since I started having trouble pushing things around – sometimes because they were unsuited to their intended purpose for anyone (gross bagless ones that required me to stick my hand into the yucko in order to clean the basket), sometimes because they couldn’t handle my hair, let alone my cats’ hair, sometimes because they died after one use, and sometimes because even though I had loved them and they were solid reliable working class heroes this old bag of crunchy bones could no longer stand the pain.Putting my last upright on the sidewalk with a “Free – Works GREAT” sticky hurt my heart. What didn’t hurt my heart was putting a D*son V6 out right next to it. Thing was fine as long as you didn’t need it to pick up anything heavier or bigger than floor cheerios. Pellet cat litter was a nope for that one.I kept the V7 and still have it. But I use it only in the back hall where the catbox lives and use it to clean cat hair off the bathroom floor because it has all the nicest attachments for tight places. It’s useless on carpets and scatters pretty much everything you can think of on hard floors. I put it together from a refurb deal on the head and various parts on various sites. The big brand killer was an EllGee that is phenomenal on hard floors but a bit overzealous on carpet. By overzealous, I mean it tries to pull the rug up off the floor, chokes itself out, then dies from lack of oxygen. Cleaning carpet nap out of the intake port is a pain I never thought I’d be willing to endure, but I figured out that this was why I’d gotten these refurbs so cheaply. You think they’re dead, but they aren’t. They’ve shut themselves down because they need to be cleaned in places it’s up to you to figure out how to access.NGL, the ELLGEEs are monsters. But the pain/clean ratio, while better than the big name brand, is still a tough one, especially at their price point.Which brings us to the Samsung. Right up front: you may not like how you empty it. You take the catch bin off and dump it. If you want to, you can also take off the mesh filter.I like this. I dump it, wipe it down, and it’s like having a new vacuum every time I use it. Beyond that, it gets all of the dirt out of my carpet without blocking its own intake – the dirt goes and stays where it’s easy to get rid of. You aren’t prodding your vacuum’s unknown places with a chopstick trying to get it to breathe so it can start. In this way, it is more like the D*son, which only rarely blocks itself. However, the Samsung is lighter than both. It has a long wand (the ELLGEE is adjustable, and the D*son is kind of a backbreaker at my height – 5’5) that makes it possible to reach under the furniture all the way to the wall. It’s also less expensive new than either of my other cordless vacuums was refurbished. If the idea of taking your vacuum apart to dump it bothers you and you don’t have (shag) carpets, the ELLGEE is excellent. Best in class. If you have shag carpets/rugs, this Samsung is the best of the three.

Convenience, Power, Reliability
Pretty strong suction! It’s reliable and most importantly convenient. I love the stream-line, compact design and ergonomic handle. Only complaint is the battery life. Sometimes I need to run it on high-speed mode and doesn’t last long. Charging time is a bit slow as well.Still, it’s as great buy especially if you find it on sale/discount.

Samsung Jet 75 vacuum should be available in Canada as it out perform the Dyson 10 vacuum that I had prior. It is well built and solid including the accessories, this is definitely an advantage over the Dyson. As for dependability it is to soon to tell although it appears to be easier to clean over the Dyson. The biggest disadvantage is the small collection container.

La amo, soy felÃz. Tiene muy buena succión como para pelo de mascota, es fácil de lavar y casi no emite ruido. Ya habÃa comprado otras marcas y no me funcionaban, ésta es justo lo que necesitaba.

I’ve never had a vacuum cleaner that, on the highest setting, has almost too much suction. A friend of mine has a much more expensive big-name-brand unit — but it doesn’t have this kind of power.

Great suction on both hard and carpet floors. A must have for a house with dogs
