Efficient and Convenient Cleaning Solution for Hard Floors and Carpets
I ordered this Wet Dry Vac since I have mostly tile and hardwood flooring throughout my house. It works like a charm, and I like how lightweight it is since it allows me to maneuver around the house effortlessly, even when using it on my stairs. And it’s nice that it’s cordless, so I don’t have to be tethered to an outlet and can easily lug it around wherever I need to take it.The digital display clearly outlines the battery life and cleaning modes, so I always know how much run time I have left. And it’s nice that I can clean a large portion of my house on a single charge. I have found that I have to frequently empty and refill the water reservoirs since they are fairly small. But it is nice that it has a self-cleaning system built in so that the brush rolls stay fairly clean with minimal effort on my part. Itâs great not having to worry about dirt and debris buildup, which lead to really nasty odors in my old wet vac. And it’s such a pain having to constantly clean it out, so since this vacuum does all the hard work for me, it’s def a win in my book!

Versatile and simple to use
This is a vacuum that can be run wet or dry (you can see which mode it’s in clearly – see my pics), and on floor or carpet (2 different rollers). I really like how the functions are well thought out:- It sits on a charging station so you can operate it cordlessly. I loathe dragging cords around so I love this. It charges fast and I so far have not run out of charge even when cleaning both floors of my house.- As a dry vacuum it has very good suction as you can see in my video (that’s damp grass cuttings which want to stick to the floor). I have a dog and a cat and it gets hair up well. There is a smooth roller for floors and a bristle roller (very easy to switch out) for rugs. On my main floor I have all hardwood; my one carpet is very low pile, so I have been using the smooth roller on my whole main floor. But if I bring it upstairs where I have thicker carpet I do prefer the bristle brush.- As a wet vacuum it has 2 tanks- the dirty tank in the front and the clean water behind. The dirty water tank is the same as the dry debris tank- I thought this would be a problem because I envisioned dry debris sticking to a tank that was still wet from a previous wet clean. However it is not at all a problem because the tank dries fast after a wet clean, or if I do both modes everything gets dumped when I dump the dirty water.- It has a cool self cleaning option which I love because I vacuum up pet hair a lot and it can really start to smell in other vacuums. I do the self clean every time (it’s only 90 seconds) I place it back on the charger.- In either wet or dry mode you can enter ‘Max Mode’ by holding a trigger on the handle. The water volume and/or dry suction increase while you’re holding the trigger.- It’s super easy to use because, in addition to being cordless, it is amazingly lightweight. I (woman in my 60s) easily run it up or downstairs, holding it with one hand. Also it’s easy to change between modes on the go, because you just press one button on the handle. So you can, for example, be on dry suction on carpet and as you get to hard floors add wet mode without stopping, and vice versa.My only issue (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that there is no information about a cleaning product to be used. Just water alone is not going to get a stain out of carpet, but I don’t know if I am allowed to add a cleaning agent to the clean water tank, and if I am- what do they recommend? If I figure this out I will update my review.BOTTOM LINE: Super versatile- wet or dry / floor or carpet, extremely easy to use, and good suction. I’m unsure about using a cleaning agent with it.

Lightweight wet/dry vac
This is VERY lightweight and a breeze to use! It came almost fully charged, too, so I was able to start using it right away. My place has mostly hardwood flooring and I am fully confident using this throughout my apartment. It cleans very thoroughly. Maybe I need to get some rugs now that I have this! So much faster and neater than messing with a bucket and mop. Highly recommend!

Revised: awesome customer service and a good product
Guess Iâm revising my review again. Th3 particular model I originally received is still terrible but I need to give big points to this company. They read my dissatisfaction with their product, apologized, and replaced it with the current model they have developed.The replacement did a fantastic job picking up dog and pet hair, picked up clay kitty litter pieces the cat kicked out, and even fine particulate matter (dust) better than most other vacuums. I would move this to a 5 star but it is terribly loud compared to other vacuums. Stating that, if you consider this to be what it is, a standing wet/dry shop vac Iâm pretty impressed.I could easily imagine this being the one vacuum in the house as it does well on hard flooring as well as carpets.Well, Iâm revising the review I previously left. This vacuum is really performing below expectations. The power and suction is extremely low and after a month nearly non-existent.As convenient as it may be, it still needs to get the job done and in my opinion this simply doesnât.For the price I expected more. The power is a little underpowered to use as a dry vac although the wet vac works pretty well.I don’t have a specific complaint about this vacuum, it works. The self cleaning function is pretty handy and the dual rollers is a nice option.On hardwood, or flat surfaces, it works well but on carpet (remember it is also being advertised as a dry-vac) I’m not impressed.

The SUNSMAI is a wet/dry vacuum rolled into one very powerful suction vacuum. I was impressed with the suction power when washing the kitchen floor. You will see in one photo, the dirty water I got just from doing the kitchen! I had washed that floor Friday and Saturday after my husband make fried chicken balls and he made a mess! But so worth it (yummy)No issue when I cook ;-) but I have had years of practice, hubby is just starting his new hobby <3Setting up the vacuum was easy enough except for the handle. I had some issue with it as it is a tight fit and as I didn't want to damage the button on the handle I used the hex tool that is provided, to depress the button. The hex tool is also used when you want to remove the handle and in the photo I provided you can see the hole in which you depress the button to remove the handle. As I am not taking on/off the handle again, not an issue.After cleaning the kitchen floor I did a 'clean' of the vacuum. The video I provided you can hear the voice that can be used (the button for the voice is on the front part of the vacuum). It will run for 1 minute and will use the clean water you have in the water tank so make sure you have enough clean water to clean the vacuum.There is a HEPA filter along with a sponge. They do provide an extra sponge. I did a new clean of the area downstairs of where the cat litter box was and the vacuum has no issues also picking up stray litter I missed earlier in the day or if one of my kitties used it. In any case I found the SUNSMAI vacuum did an excellent job in both the litter area and the kitchen. I provided a photo of the kitchen floor and when I use a mop and bucket to wash the floors, the kitchen always has water marks. In my photo I have a shiny, clean floor!To remove the roller brush after cleaning the kitchen floor it is as simple as pulling the tab out on one side of the roller brush, turning counterclockwise and pulling the roller brush out. To insert the hard roller for dry vacuuming, reverse the steps.For vacuuming I did find the suction powerful as I mentioned but I only have area rugs and did find that vacuuming the area rugs the same as using my central vacuum, too much suction! This is NOT an issue for me but be cautious if you do area rugs. I used the hard roller brush and boy did it clean the area rug, but it is not something I will use often except for the mat by my back patio door and that is a heavy mat.You do not need to keep the vacuum plugged in. After charging you unplug it until you need to charge again. The battery is good. I did have to charge it after doing my test and that took about 4 hours. But the vacuum has a count down timer when using it.I will mention that a few times I would get a spot of dirty water coming out. Not an issue as I was using the water trigger a lot to get the brush roller wet. This is not an issue of the vacuum itself but of my testing the vacuum and making sure enough water was being distributed to the roller and floor. I just passed the vacuum over that spot and the vacuum when using the wet feature to wash the floor can leave the floor almost dry.Overall I found that the SUNSMAI wet/dry vacuum was a pleasure to test and a vacuum I will use often, especially for my kitchen floor where hubby and my girl (doggo) likes to make a mess. Hubby while cooking and Doggo when she drinks water lolThere is mention in the manual you can add NON-corrosive/flammable liquid solution to the water. I did place about 2 ounces of white vinegar. I use vinegar when washing my floors as it is a disinfectant and degreaser. As I have a dog and all dogs lick the floor, vinegar is the best I can use to make sure she is safe and my floors are clean.There is a drying rack that can be attached to the charging station. Always use the 'clean' function after washing the floors and then removing the roller brush so it can dry and not become moldy.The quality of the wet/dry vacuum is comparable to the value of $359.99 with a $50 off coupon.

These new-style wet dry vacuum cleaners are certainly impressive. I tested a simulated spill on the kitchen floor and the new SUNSMAI S11 performed wet cleanup incredibly well. The power brush is much superior to air-suction only; our traditional wet dry shop vac just cannot compete.I found it wonderfully lightweight and has finely controlled maneuverability for vacuuming. The roller makes short work grabbing anything that can be picked up on wood or tile flooring; we have no deep thick carpets, but the bristle-brush was easily up to the task with our regular carpets and doormats. The real strength of this machine though is power wet mopping; spot cleanup was fast and easy, but this is so effective for essential deep cleaning. The dual water tanks (in-out) have enough capacity to handle a large room.The overall design is extremely modern: constructed entirely from synthetics make it light and modular, removing and switching rollers is a ten-second process, the automated self-cleaning rinse is amazing. 30-40 minutes of battery, plenty of running time between charging, and a charging dock stand. Everything from assembling to full operation was straightforward and without issues.As for any concerns in my mind I noticed pet hairs sticking to the brush roller, self-cleaning mode flushed out dirt but struggles a bit with hairs, I needed to pick some out by hand. With the moisture involved one must take care to prevent bacteria buildup: follow the maintenance instructions and always remove a wet roller to dry on the dock basin.I checked to locate brush Roller and HEPA filter replacements on Amazon but not yet seen any. This is a brand-new product, I think, and hopefully SUNSMAI will make them available soon. I am happy and satisfied with the wet dry vacuum.

We had recently replaced our vacuum cleaner but decided on this one in addition because it can also handle wood floors, which are abundant in our house. In fact, carpet is very much in the minority, and I think that’s true for a lot of homes these days so this is the best of both worlds.My husband loves it. He uses it on our bare floors often and says it doesn’t feel like a compromise, it gets the job done as well as he would expect from any tool.It’s a permanent fixture in our home even if its voice sometimes confuses the dogs.

The good first: This is the perfect vacuum cleaner to have around in the kitchen etc for frequent, small cleanups, like crumbs or if you spill a tray of beads… small things. The battery life is great, it will easily last you a week for that type of use. I don’t bother having it charge every time I’m done with it, but you can plug the dock so the vacuum charges whenever it’s not in use.Cat hair, though? Not a chance. Cat hair on carpet? Forget about it. Due to the hole leading into the dust container being so small, I had to keep stopping every two minutes to pull out a huge clog of hair.I have not tried the wet function, as that’s something I prefer a regular mop for.
