LOVE it LOVE it LOVE it !!!!
I was so excited to get this. My dirt is dense red clay and I need to make decent compost. The Vac Attack can suck up quite a lot of leaves and does a beautiful job mulching. The tool, battery and full bag get kind of heavy which only fills my red clay heart with joy. I got the 6 AH battery to go with it and it fills the bag at least twice. I’m not sure yet how many times it can fill the bag before using up the battery. Plus I really love to say “Vac Attack”.

    design problem
This “vacuum” has not the suction power to clear up leaves. This unit is top heavy, with the battery at the placement designed at the top, there is too much weight while holding the vacuum portion upright, causing the user unnecessary lifting. Emptying the bag is a whole task aside from the lack of suction power. More weight needs to reside nearer the bottom to assist in the forward movement the user needs to make. This is a totalally useless item.

    Well Built and Designed
Purchased one of thes about 4 years ago and they work great for light leaf cleanup around the yard. The other one finally went out but I got a heck of a lot of use out of it. The only downside is the leaf bag as it could be built better. Its stitched and when you drag the ground or sidewalk with front of the bag, over time, the thread wears out and you get holes in the bag. Seems like they could use something different such as a seam/stich protector on front of the bag to make the bag last longer.

    good at mulching leaves
the bag hook comes undone and to make it easier you could put moveable wheels on the bottom of the bag ,the bottom bumps on the ground and will wear out. for now iput duct tape on the bottom your vender has to be cheaper -same item Home Depot brand new and you don’t have to buy the battery’s i already have a 40 volt mower it came with two 40 volt batterys .price $120 ..Brand new with out the batterys.this is for the mulcher let me be clear.

Good vac, poor design, cheap on materials, and accessories
Generally, a good strong leaf mulcher, lots of power. First time used the clip to vac (see pic) failed by coming out as soon as the bag touched the ground. It’s useless, fails every time. This makes it much harder to balance the leaf load as it builds up hence not light and hard on the back. Although there is a place to clip on a shoulder strap, none is included and believe me, you will need that. After 3 uses the wheel broke. I was using the vac over 3/4 rock, but I would expect that not to be an issue. It rolls on 1 wheel but awkward. Caution in emptying the bag. You will get hosed in dust. The zipper system to bag tends to snag on bits of leaf so be patient.

    Perfect for small piles
When the wind blows there are small pockets around the house where a small pile of leaves will gather.. Rather than rake them – I just suck them up.. It mulches very well, the bag holds a lot of leaves, the battery lasts for several hours – comes with a battery charger – I like that it has wheels. The Bag often swings free of the catch on the hose, and the zippers can get clogged.. But over All, I’m delighted with my purchase.

    Disappointment, Worthless and Time Consuming
Shipping was so fast. It was ordered kn 11/24 and arrived 11/28. I was excited to start using it to clean up the dry leaves in the driveway and small backyard. I used it for exactly 15mins mulching the leaves until it became clogged. It took 45 minutes to disconnect and unclog. I was able to mulch for less than 5 mins until it became clogged again. Again i unclogged the small amount of dry leaves. I forgot to mention that I removed all little sticks. So sticks were not the problem. Afterwards it was unclogged again. Removing again a very small amount of dry leaves. I attempted again to turn on the machine and this time the motor was working but no suction. I spent half of the day trying to mulch and did not get 1/2 of a bag of mulch. I am so frustrated and tired. The design does not make sense. It is much too heavy with the bag less than 1/2 full, with cheap plastic wheels so you have to bend to use. It does not have a strap to to help carry this heavy piece of equipment. This is the worse Ryobi equipment I have ever purchased.

    Useless
    1) The business end of this sucker is an oval 4″ X 6″. That means that if your leaf-covered sidewalk is 3-feet wide (36″) you will have to make 6 passes. In retrospect, my rake and garbage can work very well.,2) It is heavy! Yes it has wheels, on the business end, to get precise elevation of the entrance. You get to lift the motor, battery, frame etc. Very tiring for this 6″3″ man.3) It is well built, powerful suction (small entrance), and useless to me. Make you a good deal!
