Pros and Cons, but more Pros than Con
I love this Roborock Q Vacuum and Mop. There is honestly only one con that took me forever to figure out, but the pros outweigh this con.Pros:-All-in-One Functionality: This is truly an all-in-one vacuum and mop. You set the robot to vacuum, and it will vacuum and empty itself when done. When set to mop, it will mop and clean the mop multiple times before finishing and returning to the dock. The only “manpower” required is emptying the dirty water after mopping and filling it with the cleaner solution beforehand.-Third-Party Cleaners: I love that I can use third-party cleaners. Roborock claims you need to use their cleaner, but it’s pricier and doesn’t smell great, nor clean. I use Bissell Multi-Surface Cleaning Formula, and it works flawlessly. I’ve used different scents like Citrus, Lavender, and even the Pet Formula, all of which smell fresh. After using the Bissell Cleaning Formula for almost a year, I’ve had no issues using it with the Roborock.-AI 3D Map Technology: The AI 3D map technology is impressive. It maps out your entire house and allows you to clean specific zones or the whole house. I haven’t had many issues with it bumping into things as it already knows what’s around the house. Even when I move objects around, the sensors are excellent at detecting new placements, so it doesn’t bump into things so violently like a Roomba. There’s also customization options, including choosing the direction for vacuuming/mopping.-Customer Support: Great customer support. We had issues with the WiFi, and customer support guided us through the solution over the phone.Main Con:-WiFi Connection: This device does not allow you to connect if you have special characters in your WiFi password. BUT you don’t necessarily need to change your password. The way around this is to go to create a new guest network through your router app (ie Asus). This generates a different network and password without special characters. For my specific router brand, my guest network only lasts up to 30 days, after which I need to create a new one. However, clicking a few taps on my phone to auto generate a new network if I want to use the vacuum in 30+ days is not a huge issue. I guess this also depends on your brand of router as some probably allow longer times or permanent guest networks, but that would be the main way to get the app to function and connect to the robot.I do wish Roborock would fix this in their next model to allow special characters in WiFi passwords.Overall, the Roborock Q does a phenomenal job cleaning, and I notice a significant difference. It saves me a lot of time, and even when I’m not home the robot will still clean and finish the job. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an all-in-one cleaning robot!

First off, I have had several robotic vacuums and mops up to this point, and all have been iRobot, except for one mop. They have always given me trouble after a short amount of time. I said I would never get another iRobot in my lifetime, and that is why I did a deep dive into robotic vacuums for weeks. I looked at YouTubeâs videos judging how well they run, vacuum, and mop. I read the reviews under each each vacuum after looking at the videos. I was not going to get another robot that I hated. The videos and the reviews were all pretty similar with the Roborock Q Revo. The difference between the top of the line and this middle of the road version boiled down to two things: 1). The top of the line vacuumed just a bit better than the Q with two rollers, but not enough to warrant not purchasing it to spend more money and get Roborockâs top model. 2). The Roborock Q Revo seemed to get more positive reviews with the round mop heads than the flat mop heads, even with the sonic motion. This is the reason for my purchase of the Roborock Q Revo. My hardwood/laminate floors were pretty dirty, being off the kitchen and not getting the attention they deserve. It took 4 washings to get them to shine like a new silver dollar! The first two did not do a good job and I was getting worried. Then I put Roborockâs floor cleaning detergent, that is low sudsing, into the water and the third wash the floors looked really good. The 4th wash they were perfect and company worthy. The tile in the kitchen/dining area are really clean too. I am so happy with it. The area rugs in the living room and hallway get very clean. The area rugs in the bedroom are Persian rugs and they grab the dog hair more than the ones in the living area, so they donât come out spotless. Almost but not 100%. You would have to get the top of the line for that. However, they are wonderful in the living/hallways. I canât tell you why this is. The Q Revo robot does not have two rollers, and just having one I think is the problem. This is not a top of the line robot, yet it performs almost as good. My living area is 45â x 25â and depending on the work you want the robot to do (vacuum both directions or just in one direction) and how you want the mop to clean (deep or regular) you will get another room done as well. It all depends. It washes and dries the mop heads better than the top of the line. The reviews showed there was still some dirt on the top of the line robotâs mop heads. The Qâs come out perfect. The robot is easy to clean inside, and the filter is washable. I might be able to go two rooms without getting new water, but my rooms are very large. The tray at the bottom of the Q Revo comes out and I can wash it at the sink, if it has dog hair in it. The top of the line has a different cleaning method and it is harder to clean the mop washing tray, compared to the Q. (Having 4 dogs it gets a workout!) It has a dust bin bag and it is pretty large. I am glad for the bag, even though I thought it might be better with a bagless option, I now prefer the bag. I opted for the white robot and it is just beautiful. If you are having doubts, donât. It is a worthy, and pretty great vacuum and mop. People seem to love it and I can see why. I would buy it again. It has made my life easier and I am thankful. Oh! I have called customer service two time already as I didnât understand something, and they were just wonderful and they were there on a Sunday! Try to do that with iRobot.

Tive o roborock S6 pure por 4 anos, estragou e fiquei furiosa pelo valor do conserto, cerca de 1500 reais. Daà decidi que ia comprar essas versões com depósito. Estudei muito todas as marcas e decidi por este robô. Ele é incrÃvel, vale cada centavo. Sei que é um baita investimento, mas vale muito a pena. Ele é muito esperto, aspira, lava ou os dois juntos, tudo controlado pelo app. Se ele identifica que o esfregão tá sujo ele retorna para a estação e realiza a lavagem dele. Se o reservatório de pó do robô estiver cheio ele mesmo esvazia na estação. à realmente muito incrÃvel. O pano que ele passa da bem pro gasto. Eu tenho 7 gatos, então esse robô é uma mão na roda. Vai sem medo e seja feliz com esse baita ajudante pra casa. Eu sempre digo se esses caras inventarem um troço desses que aspira o sofá,sozinho, vão ficar milionários.

Tenemos perro y gato de interior. Nuestros pisos son cerámicos, lo que quizás simplifica las cosas. Si despejas su camino, “Rocky” es eficiente, limpia bien, ni siquiera es tan ruidoso (excepto cuando esta descargando y lavandose). La verdad es que fue un gran acierto, mejor de lo que esperaba. UPDATE: I recently read the new york times wirecutter review that said the QRevo and other robot mop vaccum combos are not worth it. Since comments on Wirecutter are disabled, I came here to strongly disagree with the nytimes Wirecutter review. We have been running the QRevo every day for the last 8 months. Our hardwood floors have never looked better. The carpet in the family room has never been so well maintained. We have a complicated floor plan with 5 rooms, 2 dining room tables bar stools, hardwood, tile and area rugs. Our main purchase goal was mopping and maintaining the large amount of hardwood. We had a irobot series 9 from costco vacuuming this floor and it would often not make it back to the base.Are the QRevo’s small spinning mops adequate to mop up a big spill? No! Your child left sticky candy on the floor? Get a paper towel and wipe it up. These units are not designed to clean up your minor disasters in the kitchen. The QRevo does a great job of cleaning pet hair, dirt, shoe and pet track marks, minor grease marks and the bits of debris that accumulate in a busy kitchen. To get the same result manually, we would sweep the main floor, get out the bona and the bona mop, spray and mop the whole floor, move and replace 9 chairs, go around with a cloth and spot clean the many spots on the floor that the bona mop did not get clean, wipe down the thick floor mats at the sink and counter by hand, and vacuum area rugs and floor mats. Easily 90 minutes of labour. So we did this every week or three when the floors got bad. Now all of those activities are completed daily by the QRevo and the only effort required is emptying and filling the water tanks and occasionally washing the bottom tray. The wirecutter reviews are wrong. The QRevo has been a major time saver. Is it perfect? No, it still will try to vaccum up the cat toy on a string or loose shoe laces, but our roomba did the same. Still highly recommended!The Qrevo is doing an amazing job! Our floors are clean, shiny and area carpets are very well vacuumed. We only use water, no cleaning solution. The Qrevo is much much quieter than the roomba. Its navigation and object detection is amazing compared to older roombas. It has speech alerts to inform us when water needs to be changed. It needs FAR LESS maintenance then the roomba vacuum. I was hesitant about the price, but if the qrevo has the longevity of the roomba it will be well worth the price. It doesn’t look like we will have to pull out the manual dyson vacuum for the carpet and the bona mop for the floor.

Actualización de la reseña:El dÃa que llegó no funcionaba el sistema hidrúalico; por los antecedentes de algunos comentarios con el mismo problema, pensé en devolver el producto, pero por la noche mandé un correo electrónico directamente al servicio al cliente de la página oficial de Roborock.Grata sorpresa que al dÃa siguiente por la mañana me respondieron y me dieron algunas posibles soluciones; y si, al parecer solo era aire en el sistema de bombeo del agua.Se solucionó en 5 minutos y me evité el trámite de devolución.Por eso actualizó la reseña, ahora el roborock Q Revo, está funcionando tal y como lo dicen en la publicidad.
