Excellent Vacuum!
I’ve used this vacuum several times now. It is truly heavy duty, but easy for me, at 5’3″, to negotiate . The vacuum rolls around on casters and has a 20′ extension cord, so you can plug it into your house and still reach your car outside!!! HAHA! The cool thing about the vacuum, is it has a locking mechanism. It twists to lock-great!! The next thing about this thing that is pretty rad is that the top detaches and becomes a leaf blower. It uses the same cord and has an additional attatchment. It locks back into place easily. I have not had any problems cleaning this out either. A really great product! I’m glad I ordered it.

Better than my shop vac
I had really grown unsatisfied with my shop vac. After I got this vacuum, my shop vac is going in the trash! This thing is awesome. It sucks. It blows. It has a lot of great attachments. The attachments have great storage places they can snap into when they are not being used. It was easy to put together and use. It sucks up stuff really well and the hose it big enough that it doesn’t get clogged. I have only used this twice so far but I am really happy with it. My only concern is that it does seem to get hot on top. I use it for about 30 minutes and it is really hot to the touch.

Powerful and versatile
This is our fourth shopvac and definitely the best designed, and most powerful of them all. Assembly out of the box is a breeze and itâs heavy duty components cleverly interlock securely and release easily as well. The vacuumâs motor is self contained and well isolated along with an easily replaceable extra large wet/dry filter that produces a surprisingly powerful vacuum/blower under both conditions. It has four standard attachments all of which are oversized but perfectly designed for either wide, medium, and narrow sweeps, along with an extra long vacuum hose. Itâs extra long power cord and four heavy duty casters permits wide ranging ease of movement. The shopvacâs barrel design while effecting a low silhouette is relatively wide and amply suited for any serious cleanup job. The hose, power cord and all the attachments neatly stow away on the shopvac itself for compact storage when not in use.

Excellent wet vac!
I have always stood by rigid as my âgo toâ brand for tools. And Iâm so glad they offer shop vacs!!. I love this wet/dry vac! First of all it has a detachable blower on the too…. how cool is that?!? The vac comes with multiple hose attachments for all your cleaning needs. The vacuum is extremely easy to clean and reassemble (causing little down time on the job). This is a great vacuum for anyone who needs a serious wet/dry vac that they want to last a lifetime!

Does NOT come with a 2 1/2″ hose. It’s 1 7/8″.
Even on the Ridgid website, in 2 places, it states 2 /12″ hose. IT IS NOT!I just got off the phone with Ridgid and was told that the attachments needed are for the 2 1/2″ hose, but this hose itself is only 1 7/8″. So I guess they stuck 2 1/2″ adapters on the end of a 1 7/8″ hose and that allows them to claim that the hose is 2 1/2″. What a crock!
