Light, good battery life and rugged hose.
Good battery length. The auction hose is a great length and very rugged. The hose is better than the one on my Stihl SE 33.

It’s like someone who uses a shop vac designed a shop vac
If you want a barrel-sized vac with a 7′ hose, two stiff pipes, and an assortment of attachments, this is not the vacuum for you. If you want a vacuum you can take to a job/task and clean up a localized mess, then this is the vacuum you have wanted your entire life. Here are the positives:• The wire has wind-up storage.• The hose has a place where it can be clipped into place on the handle and the suction end has a place to be stowed.• You can carry it through a house without worrying about the hose knocking things over and you can make it through a doorway with ease.• It lives nicely in your vehicle when you drive to a job, unlike a traditional shop vac with its uncontrolled wire and hose.• I read a review that said the hose fell out of the body of the vacuum. The hose has a clip on one end that clips to the female socket on the body and holds the hose securely. I don’t know what that reviewer was doing.• Its motor seems to be on par with the barrel-sized 5 gal Rigid I have, so it’s loud. I’ve heard it said that vacuums are the loudest tool in a woodshop. This tool is like that. The only thing to note about this vacuum is it has the kind of hose that is designed to retract to a short dimension, it is not the normal shop vac hose that stiffly retains its max length. With this kind of hose, when you plug the suction end, the hose shrinks in length. This can be a little annoying, but given all the benefits of this vacuum, it doesn’t bother me in the least.

Every home should have a shop vac!
I bought my first shop vac about 3 years ago. After using it, I couldn’t believe I waited so long to get one. That first shop vac was a 14 gallon Ridgid. There was nothing it couldn’t handle. It had one drawback… Portability. It was a pain lugging it up and down stairs, much less using it on stairs. When I recently did some work on the furnace in the attic, I wanted to clean it up some. The 14 gallon shop vac was not going to make into the attic. That is where my idea came for this little thing. It was perfect. Light weight and easy to carry, I used to clean the furnace, the return register, the stairs and everything else in sight.I love this little thing, and I think every house needs a shop vac! With a quick search, you can probably find it cheaper than Amazon. I would have liked a longer courd and a few more attachments. Fortunately there are a ton of accessories available at HD along with the filters.

    Not for me.
Too small and don’t like the accessories. Over priced for quality.
