The long tube gets down into our deep tank (which other brands have failed to do). It has done an amazing job at helping clean out the sand and gravel allowing us to keep the tank fresh for the fish. A great purchase.

Amazing how well it works
After spending far too many hours trying to figure where the settings were to get it to boost my WiFi signal, I just gave up. Thinking what am I going to do with this thing now, I stared at it and wondered if it might be useful for cleaning my 100 gal water garden. I mean, what else am I going to do with it, right? Surprisingly, it worked. In fact, if you didn’t know otherwise, you’d think it was made for such a purpose. The unexpected thick tubing and incredibly long intake tube moved a lot of water fast. Wicked fast. And it was not difficult to get it siphoning water. I didn’t even need to plug it in or anything. Not that I could find any directions where to attach a power cord. Mine seemed to be missing that. But it was great! The entire system, or hose, I guess, seems very durable and rugged and well built. So I am very pleased. I still need a way to boost my home network signal, but until then I can make the fishes’ lives a little better.

Great product
I don’t usually write reviews. I ordered the siphon and it arrived today and I used it immediately. It was very easy to start a siphon even though it does not have anything special to get it going and the hose is flexible enough to make it easy to use. I cleaned the 75 gallon fish tank in half an hour thanks to this product.

Perfect for a 50 gallon tank
I really like this siphon. I have a 50 gallon aquarium that is about 18-20 inched deep. The long vacuum tube on this siphon enambles me to vacuum without getting my hands wet, except…to start it, you need to submerge it in the tank. That is the manufacturer’s recommendation and really the only practical way to fill it with water to get the siphon started. It does a nice job of pulling up the junk from the bottom. It will pull gravel up to the top of the tube so it needs a tap on the bottom to dislodge the mass of gravel. As soon as I push it through the gravel to the bottom of the tank I can see a black cloud of organic material float up. Very good siphon!

For a 90 or 150 gallon tank
Inaccurate website description. Nowhere is the tube length specified in the text. And is is 27″ long, enough for a 120 or 150 gallon tank, not for 55-gallon tanks. Look at my picture of the tube on my 60-gallon tank, a few inches taller than a 55-gallon. The tube is too long and hard to use. My old siphon had a tube about 10″ long, and that is Python’s LARGE size.

Great product if you have a bigger tank.
Great product if you have a bigger tank. I have three tanks. A 5.5 gallon, a 10 gallon, and a 20 gallon. Itâs manageable with the 20, but it sucks a lil too efficiently for me when I use it on my other tanks. I just got a new bigger tank. Itâs a 40 gallon. Iâm sure Iâll be happier to have this amount of suction with it.Not a wonderful thing if you use sand. It sucks so well that it takes some of the sand with it. A lil disappointment if, but not a huge deal. I recommend this product!
