I had no idea I needed a mattress vacuum.
Honestly, what might be hiding in our mattresses and pillows never really got on my radar. Then, several months ago, we saw an inexpensive mattress vacuum on sale, read the hyperbole on the box, and decided to give it a try. I was pretty amazed (and a little horrified) by what it pulled out, the first time we used it. Unfortunately, the second time we used it, it died.At that point, I couldn’t unsee what I had seen. The hyperbole on the box was actually pretty accurate – there was dust and dead skin cells lurking in our beds. We ordered this one with a little trepidation, based on the previous experience. But the difference has been like night and day. At just a slightly higher price than the first one, this mattress vacuum is clearly more solidly made and powerful. We ran it over pillows and mattresses that had been cleaned – quite effectively, we thought – just a few months ago, by the other vacuum. It was therefore impressive how much more dust this vacuum removed. And while the other vacuum sounded pretty clearly labored when we pressed it into the mattress, this one didn’t struggle, at all.I love the clear dust canister. Well, I love it and hate it. It’s great to be able to see in real time how well it is working. But it’s also a little sickening to realize what we’ve been sleeping with – and none of the mattresses in our home are more than two or three years old. Simply put, we all have a need for a good mattress vacuum. And this is a good mattress vacuum at a fair price.

Interesting
This thing surprised me with how much it actually picked up. The light cleaning feature is a little strange, but it’s newish technology. The base is really wide though so it makes it hard to get into the crevices of the couch. I wish it maybe came with different heads to switch out. I like the charging base though, it makes storage a lot easier

Great cordless bed vac but has moderate battery life
This unit is lightweight, it is very easy to use and empty and clean. Works great for our couch and bed. It is quiet Now there are some finer points to it, though. The manual seems to be incomplete, as it just does not seem to convey enough information about this unit, so you just have to play with it. It does have a two position power switch, i.e. high and low. A quick double click on the power switch will get you into high power, which is what you need to really clean a mattress. Once you have clicked into high power, you do not need to hold your finger on the power switch. I used it to clean our California super king size mattress. You can see from the attached pictures that it can pick up a lot of fine dust. However, you need to firmly press the vacuum cleaner into the mattress to get it really picking up dust. The blue UV light will stay on as long as you hold the vacuum cleaner close to the surface. If the cleaner has a minor gap with the mattress, the UV light will drop off. When it is time to clean the filter and cover, you need to turn the metal cap clockwise. This is at the rear of the cap, not at the front rubber gasket part. Look closely at the pictures to note the tabs in the cap that match up with the rubber cover. The cleaner battery did not last long enough for me to completely clean the mattress in one session. I had to recharge the cleaner to finish the mattress. I was going slow, so maybe the cleaner lasted 18 minutes on its charge, but I was not timing it. Its primary purpose is to get fine dust, so for that I will give it five stars.

Less than 2 months – Stopped working
It was not more than 2 months of using this product that it stopped working 🙁 I was very disappointed because it was a gift I had given to a family member who was using it and loved it but the feedback I got recently that this stopped working was very unexpected as i hoped better for this product and expected to last longer than 2 months 🙁 Had no choice but to throw it away, I would say look elsewhere 🙁
