New life added to my three 18 volt tools
The low price for the pair of nicad is higher than original amperage tools is much lower than the originals and the mew batteries replace 2 originals that just went out, not chargeable. It made my old saw andv2 drills like new. Pluss the stronfer new batteries came fully charged and fit my originals double charger.

    Battery now works great.
With an aftermarket charger I am now very satisfied. It would not charge on the OEM charger. The battery works fine now.

take a little more than usual to be charged.
for the price, good product. So far, it is holding the charge well and letting me finish the job I was working on.

They both fit my drill and work perfectly.
They both fit the charger just like the originals, took a full charge and snapped into the drill just as I would expect them to. The release worked fine as well and the drill runs at full speed and torque. Only time will tell how long they actually last (the originals lasted about three years) but I would recommend based on the great price and build quality.

Only Battery that would ship to my location
I have been unsuccessful in getting replacement batteries shipped to my location and was about to donate my Dewalt 18V cordless drill to a charity. After many “cannot be shipped to your location” messages on Amazon and other retailers, I finally located these batteries. A bit pricey, but cheaper than purchasing a new drill. These 4.5Ah batteries are an upgrade given that my dying 2Ah batteries lacked the power to drive long screws. I’m very happy with the purchase so far and hopefully these batteries continue to perform at peak levels.

Read compatible chargers (photo) and batteries arrived topped off at 19.4v
Received new batteries yesterday to replace original DC9096 bought a few years ago. Always topped off every 6mth while stored. One died and other charges. Both of these arrived at 19.4v. Was a struggle to force into original Dewalt charger and hard to remove. They did charge and top off at 21v (outstanding). Checked 24hrs later and still holding at 20 volts. Checking once a month to see how much drop over time. I did not read the compatible charger models so the fact that I had to press hard to get into charger is my fault. Same with removal from drill, have to pull and wiggle and eventually it comes out. I did find and order the correct aftermarket charger on Amazon. My old batteries have more of a rounded end and these are more square. Same with the charger. With the original topped off battery, I inserted and pulled trigger, power as usual. Then I had to press hard to insert these batteries (square end). Once seated, I pulled the trigger and what a difference in power. Yes my other being a 6yr old battery might have effect but these did fully charge and time will tell. The originals for my Dewalt are discontinued so rebuilt or aftermarket being available is a good thing.
