A Great Replacement Battery
This battery fit right into my Dyson DC16 with no issues. After a week of use, it charges and powers the vacuum just like it should. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far, so good.

It works
It worked on my DC16. It was not an exact fit but it works. No lights came on at first but then after it charged all the way the charge lights came on. Considering they don’t carry parts for this vacuum I’ll take it

Failed, but company stood behind it.
This battery failed after three months (June to August, 2024). Charge would last less than a minute. However, I contacted the company and they sent a replacement, which – so far – is working fine. Note that Amazon reports this as a frequently returned item. Did not pursue what problems other people had. I gave this 4 stars basically because it works when it works and the company was prompt in standing behind it.

I can afford to replace this every seven years.
this battery was twice the capacity as the first replacement I bought seven years ago for the same price. What’s not to love? I imagine they’ll be getting a little hard to find for this model dyson the next time I need one, but I would gladly buy another one when the time comes if it works as long and as well as the one I’m replacing did.
